The Anglican Shrine is absolutely fine for wheelchair users. Many of our church pilgrimages had wheelchair people, so no problem, for worship, or eating or accommodation. Don’t know about the Roman Catholic one.

Parking is difficult unless you have a disabled badge. Have you considered staying over? Nortons is situated in the grounds and offers food and accommodation, or there are B&B facilities locally.

There is a sign in the Anglican shrine saying assistance dogs only. We didn’t see any other dogs around there.

Hi Janice C, Possibly to the grounds but I don't think actually in the shrine.... you would have to ask a member of staff, they are very accommodating.

Hi. The honest answer is .. i dont know. But knowing the location i think maybe so. I suggest a quick phone call would be best. There is a shop. Visitor centre etc. They would know..hope this helps..butin any case a 5 minute visit to shrine would be easy and lots of shady parking about. Good luck and enjoy Al.
