Had a fantastic day out with the family today, it was nice to have a different animal feeding times to see the animals up close and we must have got lucky as every animal was out and active today we got some great photos and memories from all the animals.
The animals also look really happy and enclosures look really good sized for the animals full of entertainment for them which was nice to see the animals looked after as well
I really liked the farm area walking through with the goats my little boy loved that and so did us as adults!
The cafe staff was really helpful and friendly and the food was nice as well
Overall we had a great day out and would love to come back again in the summer as a family day out again.

We visited Banham Zoo, it was amazing. Staff at the visitor reception were really helpful, along with staff in the cafe. The signage ment that we could easily locate ourselves as we self guided around the site. Any keepers we met were friendly and happy to talk about the animals. A great day out for all ages genuinely. Well worth a visit.

Really disappointed with visit, £90 for 4 adults, no reductions in price despite restricted times open, only 10-4, not all food and drink places were open as you walked round, only one place you could get proper food and queues were horrendous, food was late arriving for one guest we had all eaten they had to chase theirs, pizza restaurant was getting some kind of refurb, it was sub standard food given the costs, bacon baguette you got 1 rasher in each half. Wasnt worth the money for an experience, staff had poor attitudes, toilets visited were not cleaned. We wished we had gone to Colchester as they never disappoint.

A lovely day out with children, shame the penguin enclosure was closed but aside from this a great setup.

My wife bought an expensive animal encounter as a Christmas present. In the paperwork it didn’t state that it had an expiration date of one year. For the first 3 months of the year my daughter was I’ll in hospital and for a further 6 months was under nursing care at home. I had planned to do this oct Nov time but had a devastating death of a son so could not go. When I phoned up in December to book a trip I was told that it had expired. I explained the difficulties we have had and the girl on the email (customer Service) couldn’t care less and said all she can do was offer one free entry. Not to give too much detail but extremely poor customer service. Thinking about it they just got them selves a bit of money for doing nothing. Shameful and disappointing.

Zoo was great. Wide range of creatures in great enclosures. Only issue was half term and very busy, so getting food on site was an issue.

Hadn't been to Banham Zoo for a few years and over 20 years for my partner. Had a lovely few hours walking round and seeing all the animals and seemed to time it perfectly for feed times and when they were active or easily viewable. It was very much worth the money we paid as we booked it the day before online and went on a Monday after half term, so it was very quiet and the rain kept away.
All enclosures were clean and tidy, and animals seemed quite content.

I have been coming to Banham regularly for nearly 10 years. We visited during half term which was kids go free - which is a great offer don’t get me wrong. It was just far too busy , too many tickets were sold in my opinion. The zoo isn’t big enough to cater for that amount of people. The queues just to get a coffee were ridiculous! There were so many people there wasnt anywhere to sit to eat . We didn’t even ride the train as we didn’t want to wait an hour for a train ride . The play area is so slippery when wet and quite run down . It was really disappointing and think I would much rather Africa alive or Thrigby hall.

A day out for the family, however alot of enclosures seemed a little run down or empty. Needs alot of work. Also a shame you can't walk through and see any penguins, can only be seen through a screen. Maps weren't the greatest throughout the park and no maps were given with our tickets. Better days out in Norfolk...

The Penguins are currently closed due to Avian Influenza and we are in the process of installing a TV so that guests can still few them when the enclosure has to be closed. Alternatively, if you arrive on the day at the zoo, please book your tickets in the safety of your car and then proceed to the admission with your e-ticket on your mobile device (to avoid disappointment, please be aware once the time slots are filled you will need to wait for the next available time)

As others have mentioned, beyond the great british wildlife we attract with such superb flora and fauna, the only free flying birds are in our Bird of Prey flying displays.
