Well kept beer good menu and the portions were very big , the staff were friendly and very attentive all food was very good would recommend and will be going back

Lovely warm and welcoming pub, attentive service and delicious food. We all really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return. Our food was lovely and hot, all freshly prepared and very generous portions.
It was so good to be out in a pub for lunch once more and The Duke of Cumberland certainly did not disappoint. Thank you for making us welcome and not minding about our walking boots!

Tighter lockdown rules didn't dampen our evening. Felt well looked after for our daughter's 19th birthday. Had our own room, staff couldn't be more helpful. Meals terrific. Lamb doner with salad was huge and mouth watering (must add a splash of their chilli sauce). Everyone enjoyed their burgers and thick cut chips too (garlic mayo yum yum). Lots of different gins to choose from. Well priced. Would definitely recommend and certainly return. Thank you to the chef and staff for a thoroughly enjoyable evening, cut short by 10pm curfew!

It was our first visit to this pub and our first time out since lockdown and it couldn't of been better. Such a warm friendly welcome and excellent service from the lovely lady behind the bar so sorry we didn't get your name. You went out of your way to make us all feel welcome. Thankyou so much for wiping down the play area for our children this ment a lot and they loved it and for the ice creams you so kindly gave them.
It was so nice after everything that has been going on to be able to relax in such a lovely atmosphere. You really made our afternoon. Thankyou. Food was also great and very reasonably priced and the place was absolutely spotless. Such an enjoyable afternoon thankyou we will definitely all be back.

Einfach gesagt absolut Klasse. Super kleines süßes Pub mit tollem Ambiente und netten Personal. Preise sind Familienfreundlich, ergo es passt alles 👍🏻

Pretty little pub with separate dining area. Good choice and quality of food at average prices. Child’s menu too.

This is definately the best country pub in this area, its decoration is just beautiful, we have sometimes had to wait as they only have one staff serving all of the restaurant and the bar. But we will be going back and highly recommend as worth a visit or two.

Una buona cucina. Ambiente accogliente. Ottima zuppa del giorno. Se sei in zona puoi passarci una serata. Ricordati che sei in Inghilterra e non arrivare dopo le 8 di sera.
