I popped in on a Thursday night to see a random gig that looked reasonable on their Facebook page. It was pretty lively even by 8pm when I got inside, already at about two-thirds capacity. I grabbed a table & ordered a chorizo pizza which came with the ticket price, and it was surprisingly tasty, not amazing but for a place like this was nice enough. Beers on tap were basic but they had a few good ones at decent prices, and a few options in the fridge. The people inside seemed very friendly and were having a great time. The bands on stage weren't too bad either. They also take Dine & Discover vouchers if you have one, so you can score a show and a meal for free.

Pizza included with entry was inedible. Drinks were poorly made, spilt my gin all over the bar poring over a glass full of ice. Tall bearded bartender very rude when I raised this with him. Staff seemed drunk. Very slack with covid safety. Had a band in the back corner after midnight out if sight from assigned tables, naturally everyone got up and squeezed into the small area trying to see them. Poor management, good music. Just didnt feel safe the way they managed restrictions. Wish we left sooner.

Best place for live music and the venue is just amazing. We had a great night and witnessed over 50 amazing artists razing funds for the bushfire relief. Incredible night!

What a local gem of a find, went there for a burlesque show and dinner, as soon as you walk in your eyes are darting all over the place, so is such a mish mash of ornamental oddities everywhere, the low red lighting adds to the ambiance, super comfortable leather lounge sofas get you comfortable and ready for the show.
Food is fab, haloumi salad, the chaqouterie board, cheese platters burgers, its all delicious, the crowd that night was fantastic and you couldnt help but get swept up the the show and atmosphere.
Its a must

With a modern take on a Bohemian decor and atmosphere, Lazybones is a terrific venue for live music. Get there early if you want to score a seat on a comfy lounge, otherwise you’ll end up on a bar stool some distance from the stage.
Performers are very close to patrons on an intimate stage at one end of the room. Sound mixing is good. We saw a new band, Intergalactic Plastic, a sort of fusion R&B Jazz/soul hybrid. ‘Out there’ name but musically very tight. 8 members including vibrant young female vocalist and great horn section.
Drinks a little on the pricier side but a great place to chill on a Friday or Saturday night with a youngish crowd.

Great band last night at Lazy Bones, incredible talent. However, the staff ruined this all with their surly attitude towards their their customers.

Top artists in both the downstairs Jazz bar and upstairs for cool funk, R&B zone. Top food choices, great drinks menu and some excellent whisky choices at good prices.
Staff are very helpful and pleasant. My favorite place for live music in Sydney.

We need more of these types of venues in and around Sydney where you can relax in reasonably comfortable surroundings to listen to good live music whilst enjoying some food and drink. The quality of food here whilst not fine dining, is fine, as expected for this type of venue while prices are on the higher side for drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

I went with some friends and their adult kids so as a group we were aged in our 50’s, 24 and 18). Everyone had a great time listening to the Santana tribute band and those of us in our 50’s danced too! The food was great, trio of dips with garlic flat bread, salad of pear, rocket and nuts was all very tasty and given it’s a music lounge venue I was pleasantly surprised by the food variety and flavours. Highly recommend

Been there 3 times over the last 2 years and food hasn't improved and although the music has been great the atmosphere is poor. Food and drinks are overpriced. Generally the sound mix cannot control the volume and dominance of the lower pitched instruments. Don't bother. If you can afford it go to New York for a great jazz experience!
