🙏🙏🙏🙏 beautiful temple. Goddess Parvati looks so divine and beautiful. We go every year for her Darshan.

Nimishamba Temple on the banks of Cauvery has both devout and scenic attraction.
This temple attracts huge number of visitors and is open throughout the day. When you enter the temple you directly visit the beautifully sculpted and decorated Nimishambal and then move on to Shiva and Lakshminarayanan deities.
Offering a saree and blouse along with other items such as flower, fruits, etc. (available with the sellers outside the temple) hastens delayed marriages.
Very scenic from outside, with river flowing by. May not be apparent with the milling crowd.
Bonus is availability of fresh vegetables in the shops around the temple. At a very reasonable price.

Well kept and lot of followers who believe in the goddesses inside the temple. Felt very peaceful after visit to the temple.

We had a chance to visit this temple and had darsan of " Nimishambha Goddess". This is near to Srirangapatna . It has a very beautiful river . when we visited the water in the river was not much . Nice place to visit.

This temple of Nimishamba is located at a distance of two kilometers from Srirangapatna, on the road leading to Sangam. The temple is at a higher elevation on the bank of the Cauvery. The river is flowing at a lower level and steps cut on stone slabs have been placed to reach the river easily. Though the shrine is small, It has seven-tiered Rajagopuram. Goddess Nimishamba sannidhi is to the right as we enter the shrine. .The Goddess is adorned with jewelry and garlands. It is a belief that your wish is granted within a minute of your prayer to this Goddess Nimishamba. You can worship Goddess Shiva in the form of Linga adjustant to Nimishamba. You can also worship Lord Lakshmi Narayana next to Lord Shiva. . All these three sannidhis are in a row.
The temple is all the time crowded.. You have special entry tickets also costing Rs.20/- Queue system is very very good.
Parking is available.

Located on the banks of river Cauvery on the way to Sangam is the Nimishambha Temple. The presiding deity Goddess Nimishambha is considered to be a reincarnation of Goddess Parvathi, the consort of Lord Shiva. It is a popular belief that those who pray at this temple are granted their wishes in one minute. Nimisha means a minute in local language. Usually people donate a saree whenever their wishes are fulfilled here.
It is crowded for most part of the year and there is ample parking space available for your vehicles. You can also access this temple using local transport.

You can pay the fees if you have to perform the Pooja / Archana before entering the temple. The Idol is very Pleasent and very well maintained by the staff. The poojari (priest) also perform rituals very well. Surely pleased that I visited the temple. If you wish they have a sale counter for the Saree's which are offered to goddess, these funds help the maintenance of the temple

Temple is situated on the bank of river Kaveri. The temple had more devotees on special days like Fridays and Amavasya.

Very Nice Scenic Place with Kaveri flowing in front of the temple. Road to the temple is also great with Tippu museum on the way. Tippus tomb is also very near to the temple. You can also visit Ghosia ghat, Sri Ranga Temple and Karighatta which are of great beauty and scenic

Its just about 15kms from mysore city and its best to put stay in mysore. However there r few places to stay in srirangapattna as well but it is not that good.
What are the timings of the temple? Is it open on Sunday?

On Sundays the temple is open from morning 7AM to 7PM in the evening. On working days, the temple is from 7 AM to 12noon and evenings 4.30 to 7.30 PM

Priest available in the temple for doing puja in the temple. I am afraid they are not available for doing ash immersion in Cavery.
