Really good value for a country house, a must see if you like Tudor architecture. Nice gardens to walk around. Just be aware there isn’t much parking.

I went here during Heritage weekend and booked this event online. It is many years since I have visited. The two ladies on the reception desk were very helpful, smiling and smartly dressed. They easily answered my questions. I was informed that the hall had been shut and restoration work had been completed. It was quiet and I had the place to myself. It was just wonderful. There was presentation screens in some of the rooms to give you just the right amount of information eg solar room and plastered ornate ceiling and how it has been restored. Very interesting. There was a well stocked visitors centre, a cafe within the walled garden, toilets and children’s play area. The grounds surrounding the hall is a hidden treasure we have yet to explore. Parking was limited and you can pay with coins or an app. It wasn’t very expensive to park. The walk to the hall from the car park was pretty with colourful borders. You could definitely make a whole day by visiting the hall, lunch and exploring the many paths and water features.

My sister and I visited the Hall with our elderly Mum on Friday 11th August and I want to say a huge thank you to all of the staff there for making us feel so welcome.
Mum is rather unstable on her feet, has very poor eyesight and is hard of hearing and has early stages of dementia - you may wonder why we take her to old, dark, uneven-floored Tudor mansions, but she enjoys it and she can get around with our support and we describe what we can see to her.
What we particularly appreciated was that the guides all made an effort to talk to Mum - most people talk to me over her head once they realise she doesn't make eye contact - but on Friday everyone was just lovely with her.
One guide in particular, a gentleman who I think was called Brian (apologies if I have his name wrong) went above and beyond to check that Mum was ok, find easier staircases for her, and chatted with her clearly and kindly without being at all patronising. He even offered to sit with her while my sister and I visited the rooms that she couldn't get to.
What could have been a tricky day out was made easy and enjoyable - top marks for your excellent customer care!

Although we have visited Bramall Park a few times, this was the first time we had been inside the hall and it’s fascinating. We bought our tickets from the visitors centre, which also houses the gift shop and a small exhibition, and then headed over to the hall. We were greeted by a lovely volunteer who gave us a guide map and briefly explained the main features we should look out for on our self-guided tour. The hall is beautifully maintained and furnished - it isn’t open every day though, so check online before you go. Outside, there is plenty of open space with woodland pathways, ducks to feed, a children’s playground and a cafe. My top tip would be with regard to the car park…as you drive up Hall Road, you will first come to a small car park on the left hand side. If it’s full, carry on further up the road and there is another, slightly bigger, car park off to the right hand side. Parking is pay & display, we paid £1.20 for 2 hours although this proved not to be long enough!

My kids love it here, plenty of room for them to run around and a brilliant spot for a picnic. Recommend!

Exceptional. This is certainly one of the best black & white houses we have ever visited, superb. I thoroughly recommend this visit for anyone who likes historical buildings.

We had an excellent tour of the hall as a group of 36 we were split into half with 1 guide per team. The time went by so quickly and it was fascinating. The guide Susie was so knowledgeable and she was good at pointing out the steps too for those with us who needed to be careful

Beautiful house, well maintained and very friendly staff throughout. Very nice lunch in the cafe, and the park is lovely (enjoyed feeding the ducks & geese!!) I thought it was really good value for money & definitely recommend

This is our local park which we absolutely love. You can tell it’s really looked after as it’s so clean, lovely flowers, no overflowing bins etc. we love having lunch in the courtyard. I’ve had to lose a star as I just wish the play area was bigger and could be extended more like it used to be when I was little

We went there on a sunny day and the park is huge, with a lot of sitting place and beautiful flowers. It’s perfect if you have dogs and children. The restaurant provide good selections of food and beverages. The hall itself closed on Monday and Tuesday, better check the opening hours before you go!
