We stumbled across this little find on our travels to Yellowtop lodges. We called in to see what people were raving about. Well all I can say is, I will recommend it to everyone. Both times we went in we were served by lovely ladies. The shop is a little gem, not a shelf or wall space is empty. Luxury chocs, cakes, pies, biscuits, good selection of breads, cheese and deli goods. Milk, cream, coffee, tea and a great selection of wines and spirits also the ciders that you can buy by the pint, they sell jugs which hold 4 pints, we bought the rhubarb cider, really lovely. We will be back next time we stay nearby.

I wanted wine and kitchen foil. Good selection of wine which was competitively priced. Bought all I wanted so left happy. The wine more than met my expecatios particularly the Fleurie.

Came across this amazing place whilst on holiday… what a find!!! Everything you could possibly want - and some! We bought some artisan cheese crackers, local chutneys, an amazing carrot cake amongst other things. Then to finish off some miniature specialty gin and fudge, and a not forgetting a St Eval candle - a perfect gift. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The only negative is that I don’t live closer.

Christmas is 5 days away, and I am panicking! There is so much to do, so little time. I decided I wanted a Christmas hamper for some family, and I remember the Jug and Bottle is only 5 minutes down the road. Why have I never visited before?! It is an absolute treasure trove of all things delicious and lovely! The owner, Louise, and I had exchanged a couple of emails before I went in, which was really appreciated and gave me confidence they could help. The team were so lovely, welcoming, friendly, and helpful! This was probably the least stressful part of my Christmas shopping, and I walked away feeling pretty pleased with myself! Thank you, Jug and Bottle team... This may have been my first visit, but I'm pretty sure it won't be my last!

We use jug and bottle often. Fantastic range, lovely staff and great products you don't find elsewhere.

Down from Scotland on holiday and popped in to the Jug and bottle. The staff member was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. It was hard to make a decision as there was so much to choose from. Came out with pies, quiche, salads and more.

Passing through this village we stopped for a snack. On approaching we saw an altercation outside between what appeared to be the owner and a couple. The couple seemed to be suprised that the owner was demanding they stand on some tape on the floor before coming in.
They were reasoning with the owner as to this strange demand and appeared to be knowledgeable about the lack of science for doing it. The owner was having none of their valid points and then refused them entry at which point we decided to go elsewhere as my partner didn't want to have a similar experience. If this is how they treat customers I would avoid this paranoid owner and go elsewhere.

Louise kindly put together a wonderful bag of local treats to make a celebratory lunch for my daughter and son in law who live in Bubwith.Excellent customer service with a lovely personal touch.They were thrilled with the produce,a selection of cheeses,crackers,crisps,fudge,cake,a bottle of beer and a small bottle of speciality gin.All beautifully presented in a re-usable hessian bag.

Visited here with my boyfriend in September, shop was gorgeous, & the young girl serving was so lovely & helpful (: my boyfriend and I were very happy with our purchases... strawberry gin & a bottle of raspberry beer.. gorgeous!

I would recommend visiting jug and bottle it’s a lovely shop with great ideas I got most of my Christmas presents here. The staff are lovely and helpful and it’s a great place to come and visit.
