‪Beautiful! I wish there would have been informational placards or a docent to explain the Buddhist religion and the religious significance of what we saw.‬

‪Quiet, Spiritual Space for Reflection‬

‪Beautiful and peaceful place to visit, reflect and pray. Unfortunately it was raining when we went so it was a quick walk around the main area and not in the gardens. We would visit again if we are back in Vancouver.‬

‪It is one of the larger Monastery in N. America located in Richmond , huge area with beautiful temple and very peaceful tranquil environment , lot of local come here to worship and learn Buddhism , at the entrance there is a lovely Fat Buddha statue welcome you , very quite , great place to learn about different Buddha statue and Buddhism , the Monk's and staff very friendly , also there is a small courtyard with
small Vegetarian restaurant only open the weekend and special dates , very expensive run by volunteers , plus a small garden to exploring out side , it is one of the good free hidden tourist attraction , truly recommend , Be Respectful some area is not allow take photo or video . one full hour is long enough for visiting .‬

‪Love TripAdvisor ‬

‪I was staying at a hotel here in Richmond, British Columbia. Right before I was ready to head back to the US, I decided to check out TripAdvisor to see if there was anything in this Vancouver suburb I could see on my way out. And here I am at this beautiful temple. They don't allow people inside the temple or even in their garden, but this a few things to see on the outside. You can buy some incense if that's your thing and say a few prayers for the dead. I usually do, but I don't know - not today. I'm just gonna pay my respects and bow to a few of the Buddha statues I see. Covid days suck in that one is limited to what they can see when they visit somewhere. Nonetheless, I feel pretty good coming here today. ‬

‪Drove through today, looks cool, but the temple is not open due to Covid. You can still stop to pay and practice social distancing, but again the temple is not open at this time.‬

‪Beautiful, peaceful-wanting more‬

‪Did a quick visit, despite the major portion being closed because of Covid-19. The garden and immediate area took about 15 minutes to quickly explore. It was was serene and enjoyable. Beautiful statues with learning plaques in English and I believe Cantonese or Mandarin. ‬

‪Simply peaceful, informative, full of beauty and nature. I enjoyed my tour of the Buddhist temple in Vancouver. It was free to enter, just leave a slight donation. Once you walk in, think positive thoughts, pray, become uplifted with spirituality and beauty. ‬

‪Gardens and temple‬

‪My visit here was really lovely. We walked quietly around the beautiful gardens and lake. The temple was beautiful and the big budda statues were amazing. Plenty of information provided in English too.‬

‪Buddhist temple‬

‪We visit this well maintained temple almost every year. Since our last visit, they have replaced the receptacles for incense sticks with ceramic trays holding water and flowers. There is only one big receptacles for incense sticks located before the stairs. A statue of Kwanyin has been added near the parking lot with a nice garden in the back bordering the vegetable farm.‬
