suitable anytime time of year for all, great place for walk to enjoy views of the North Shore mountains and towards the city of Vancouver

Large park with many amenities such as a playground and water park, skateboard park, running track and swimming pool (indoor) at Eileen Daily Pool. The Burnaby Public Library is located here and there are ample playing fields including a lacross / ice rink. They have an off-leash area but in the park, Dogs must be on a leash.

This is a great park. They have a great dog park. Lots of parking. A great trail which is also a off leash dog park.

On any nice evening you will see dozens of people walking around the track. It's almost a community tradition with kids, parents, adults and seniors getting some exercise. On the surrounding fields there are makeshift soccer games going on, picnics (especially on every Sunday of the summer when the various Italian groups meet and prepare food for everyone), tennis and the playgrounds. Throw in Eileen Daly Indoor Pool and waterpark and the numerous trails and dog parks around Confed' and you have the park that does it all.

Tons of nature trails, dog park, miniature train ride, running track, bocce, pick nick and a play area for the kids. this place has it all including even an old people lawn bowling club. stuff to do for all ages. its a must go family park. Have fun

Don't get me wrong - this is a full service park with indoor pool, lawn bowling, parking, running tracks, you name it.
But, what I am looking for is a shaded walking/jogging trail that can be used in the hot sunny weather. I didn't find it here. What IS available is a small portion of the park north of Penzance Street, parking off Penzance just behind (east) of the model railway operation. A trail heads down the steep slope to (almost) Burrard Inlet, where it stops just before the railway tracks. Saw no signs giving distance, options, etc; although did see signs warning of "no-go" areas. The noise from the adjacent refinery is a constant reminder you are still in the city. This trail is steep. If you are training for the Grouse Grind or the Coquitlam Crunch, you might find this useful, but not for an old guy looking for an afternoon stroll. I think I'll go back to Central Park and leave this area to those who like a challenge.

This outdoor area has a number of activities to enjoy: track, pool, fields, play ground, park, library, senior centre, walking trails. You can even walk down to a beach area where the rail tracks are and the Chevron refinery. Trails don’t have much signage.

From off-leash dog area, to the track, waterpark for toddlers and youngsters, picnic tables, a library, lawn bowling, seniors center and an indoor swimming pool (Eilen Daily) there is tons of variety for all the members in your family.

The running track behind the library is excellent and I use it all the time to train. Highly recommended to come and run!

lots for the whole family as its got a 3 play areas for the kids to play on & in plus a great track & picnic tables for bbq in the summer
