This nirvana beach was not a hustle one or with water sports.
This was a perfect place where you could unwind and let your kids play and build a sand castle without worrying to find any problematic things inside sand or anything harmful.

If you close your eyes to picture an Indian beach in your mind's eye, you will most likely envision a super crowded, littered beach full of hawkers.
This beach is secluded, surprisingly clean (I guess the locals get credit for this) and it's nice to explore. One can climb the rocks at the end of it. We climbed a bit and saw some crabs resting. We saw one person climb beyond us and get to the other side. I wonder what sight beholds there. We were told during peak season, there are water activities. But from what we saw there wasn't a soul (touristy soul, if I may!) besides us. We were there during the onset of monsoon and loved the feeling of having the beach all to ourselves!

Made a quick plan for a Solo Trip and guess what place has exceeded my expectations. Secluded Beach is the USP. Stay is as Natural as it can be. Don't expect luxuries but basic amenities are taken care. Will recommend for people who want to stay in peace and enjoy

this is one of the prettiest beaches to visit and spend a good time if you happen to be in Gokarna. If you don't wish to be amongst commercialization, then this is the place you should definitely visit

With so many well known beaches in the area Nirvana beach is on the other side of the Gokarna city.
If you are one of those travelers who like to be in a peaceful atmosphere then this is one of the best beaches around in Gokarna with almost blue water and white sand.
Almost an hour drive from Om-beach.
Downside - Food is not easily available.So its advisable to carry food items along.
Time of travel - Early march.

Nirvana beach is a quaint beach about 7-8 kms from Kumta town. To get to this beach you have to go down the Hegde main road and then take a left towards Kagal village. After crossing many swerving and narrow roads, you come to this vast and secluded beach. Since, it is not easily accessible, not many people know about this beach and hence, the beach is mostly deserted.
The beach itself is nothing special when compared to Gokarna beaches, but a good place to chill out with your food and drink, swim and relax. You won't be bothered by hawkers trying to sell you trinkets like you will experience in Gokarna. Note that there are no shops or eateries nearby, so you will not get anything here, not even water. If you're planning on spending a bit of time on this beach, you will need to carry your food and beverages to the beach.
Be careful where you park your vehicle near the beach as the sand is very fine and slippery, and your car tyres may get stuck in the sand. Our Maruti Swift front tyres started spinning in place due the fine sand on the beach and had to be pushed out by about 7-8 good Samaritans from Kagal village who helped us out of that fix. So, be careful about where you park on the beach.
All in all, Nirvana beach is a good place for a quiet picnic away from the hustle and bustle of civilization.

I visited Nirvana Beach on Oct 2016 with a few friends. We stayed at the Nirvana Nature Resort. This beach is very close to the stay. Very peaceful and clean beach. It was a pretty long beach and there was nobody in sight although some families do live a little off the coast. It felt like our own private beach for a while. Perfect for a relaxing and lazy evening with friends.
Take your own water and food as there are no restaurants or cafes nearby. We were advised not to go deep in the water as the waves can be pretty strong at times.

This is good beach to relax and laze around. Not many visitors come here so its not crowded.If you are interested in visiting the Heaven's Beach, you to take this way to trek over the Nirvana Cliff. Heaven's Beach is worth a visit but be ready to walk to it from Nirvana Beach. While swimming here be wary of the fishing nets. There is a Nirvana Cafe on the beach. Its a bit costly but you can have some decent food here.

Hello,
Didn't see anyone pitching tents in the beach. But you may try asking any hotels on Kudle beach or Gokarna beach if one is allowed to do so. If you are willing to venture a little further away, you may try asking at Nirvana Nature resort on Nirvana Beach, Kumta which is a short ferry ride away from Gokarna. The owners were telling us about others who would pitch tents in the beach. They might be of help!

Hi, Do we get bus/ any transport from Nirvana beach to Murudeshwar?(No self Transport)

No, there is no transport available from the beach directly to Murudeshwar beach. Nirvana beach is accessible from Kagal village via local bus from Kumta bus stand.
If you want to go to Murudeshwar afterwards, you'll have to take the local bus from Kagal back to the Kumta bus stand, and then take a KSRTC bus to Murudeshwar.
