“‪A free way of learning more about policing‬”

‪إبني توقفت هنا في طريقنا للمنزل من الشمال الخليج. لقد تسجيل الدخول خارج الطريق السريع على الطريق، وقررنا أن فى طريق العودة. متحف مجاني أود أن أقول إن كان مثيرة. الكثير من التاريخ، والمعارض تفصل التغييرات في الشرطة الجريمة على مر السنين. بالإضافة إلى بعض الأشياء المحلية ذات الصلة opp. إنه مصان جيدا إبني الاهتمام. كما أنها تحتوي على منطقة الأطفال. يقع الفندق في مقر opp ضخمة إلى حد ما مكان في حد ذاته. أنصح الجميع بزيارة هذا لمن 24 ساعة أو ما إلى ذلك على المحافظة.‬

‪قضينا وقت رائع. أحب الأطفال. كان الانفجار يحاول الملابس. بالإضافة إلى جولة إرشادية التعلم عن اختلافات السيارات القديمة إلى جديدة. أقدم استمتعت طاولة الطب الشرعي بالطبع، ليجو لاند،. ننصح به هذه الجولة إلى الناس في المنطقة.‬

‪Very interesting and much more than we expected. A well curated history of the OPP in a beautiful building which houses the OPP Academy. Well worth visiting. Admission is free.‬

‪Nicht groß, aber beeindruckend. Der Umstand, dass das Museum im Police Headquarter eingerichtet ist, macht das Ganze noch authentischer.
Der Empfang war sehr freundlich.

‪It has been a number of years since I have been here. They always do a good job in their research plus giving a good overview of what the OPP has done over the years. I personally know several people that have made donations to the OPP museum via my membership within the OPPVA. Free admission but you need to show I,D. to get a name tag to tour this part of the building. Things have changed here from a security perspective sibce 9/11. Lot's of free give aways too which will add to enjoyment in visiting the OPP museum. Keep up the good work here as it truly a positive experience here!‬

‪Great view into the past of the OPP.‬

‪Some real old school displays of how it used to be done. many great photos of the bad guys from the olden days and how the OPP started down in the Niagara region. Make sure you bring proper ID. The poaranoid white shirts have the place locked down but it really doesn't take long to get in.‬

‪We visited this museum in 1997 when it was only 2 years old, back then we saw the garage and uniform store on top of the other parts of the museum, this time we could only visit the public area which was very interesting.‬

‪Great surprise‬

‪We didn't plan to visit this museum but it was a drizzly day so we decided to give it a try and we were really glad we did. The museum is small but very well thought out and extremely interesting. You must be sure to take the booklet available at the entrance of the museum which explains everything you are seeing since there's no staff inside to give tours.Take your time and read all the descriptions of the items on display. Its a very thorough and fascinating history of the OPP. We had the place to ourselves so we could really have a good look at everything. And an added bonus...its free!‬

‪OPP Museum‬

‪Went to the opp museum in Orillia today very interesting very well put together and very informative it's a self-guided museum with a book with lots of information I found it very moving at times. They also have a gift shop with some great gift ideas one-of-a-kind items you wouldn't find elsewhere.‬

‪This is an interesting place to visit with a gift shop where you can buy OPP labelled stuff. This is all I could think of to write, but they want 100 characters.‬

‪Compulsory stop ‬

‪Whether for a day or for an hour a stop at the Ontario Provincial Police museum is pretty much compulsory and worth the time and effort. Lots of displays, several interactive. Free booklets with detailed information. Interesting to all ages. Shop and cafe also available. ‬
