Very friendly staff, nice surroundings but very overpriced for the experience I had. Would rather go to my local cinema and pay a third of the cost. To be honest the way the current climate is a waste of well earned money.

Even when busy the staff did their absolute best to ensure we had everything we needed. Very modern ordering system which was a new experience and very efficient! Lovely lounge area and great food and drink - pricey but worth it.

I just went to Everymans Bristol with my nephew and his grandparent to watch a Christmas Carol. We were excited about this and looking forward to the special experience we were expecting to have including pre cocktails and a food brought to us in the cinema.
However when we arrive there were people smoking and swearing in the doorway, inside was busy and loud. There were no ushers, there was nowhere to sit and nobody told us there was a private Christmas office party taking place.
When we attempted to order our pre cocktails the bar man asked if we were with the party when I said no we had come to the cinema, he told us to go to the end of the bar, then refused to serve us saying there was no system for serving both party customers and cinema customers and he said we would have to wait for his manager. We were left hanging around in the drafty door way for 10 minute until the manager came and agreed to take out order. He agreed to take 10% drinks bill for the poor initial experience. However the Christmas cocktail was lacking the mint and the gold so would never be valued at the price £9:50!!
The experience did not get better. It was too rowdy to drink our cocktails and we could not hear each other. George manager found us seats in another drafty area whilst the party-goers started leaving. He apologised and said he would give us free popcorn and collect us for the cinema as soon as it was open.
The show was suppose to start at 5:30 but at this time the cinema screen was still shut and there was no one explaining what was going on. I asked the same bar man who we met initially who said: ‘yes the show has started and the adverts are on until 6’. I was surprised and said but we can't get in to which he laughed and said ”I am not the manager, the manager is not hear and I am not supposed to be in charge of anthing”.
When we were able to take our seat later the food orders were rushed, and the food then arrived in total darkness, with forks and napkins arriving after we started eating blindly.
The film of a ‘Christmas carol’ as a theatre show was good, clear and captivating. However there was an unexplained interval and then interviews with the actors who talked about bits of the play we had not yet watched, so that was a bit of a spoiler and could have been an option to stay at the cinema afterwards. However, we could not wait to leave and would never return such a waste of money for 4 people = £88 seats + £26 2 x cocktails, cola and a beer, food (tiny pizza £7:10) £41:60.
No one even checked we had tickets.

Great visit with the kids, the Korean chicken burger with sweet potato fries were outstanding. The staff were lovely, lovely afternoon.

Love the cinema!!!!!!!but don’t order the food!!!!!Venue…..great!Staff.,…..helpful.Food appalling! Advertised as Skin On Fries hand cut using the best potato’s £5.00 for the smallest portion of cold burnt chips. They were sent back and another portion of the same vile chips arrived. They looked like they’d been sat in the bottom of the frier and repeatedly cooked in dirty oil. Nasty, nasty, nasty. Salt and pepper squid was equally as greasy and clearly cooked in Luke warm fat……..sooooo greasy and slimy. Such a shame because I love watching films at this venue and half the reason I don’t mind paying more for a ticket is because I enjoy the film/food experience.Will be reconsidering whether it’s worth visiting again👎

We’ve visited a number of times now, including for a special preview night of the Elvis movie. They have a great bar menu with a good variety of both drinks and food (hot and snack food). Seats are comfortable, staff are always very helpful and the general ambience is relaxed. If you’ve not been I’d definitely recommend a visit and with a new screen now opened there will be even more on offer film wise. A little gem in the heart of Clifton

Having visited this place 5 or 6 times I kept meaning to write a review.
I would like to start by saying that the staff are outstanding. They welcome you as you walk through the door, sit with you whilst they take your order and are exceptionally polite and friendly. I’ve even taken my Mum for a visit and she says exactly the same thing.
The decor in the bar area is great, nice and relaxed and very clean.
The screens themselves are great. Lovely comfy sofas so you can relax and enjoy your film.
Food is good and the value is great. Burgers and pizza both recommended, not as keen on the hotdog. My daughter raves about the Oreo milkshake.
Tickets can be a little pricey depending on when you go but you get what you pay for. In my opinion it’s worth the money not to sit on a filthy dirty seat and have someone kick that back of your chair throughout the film.
This isn’t our closest cinema but because of the continued great service it has become our regular cinema.
I’d recommend this place to anyone. By far the best cinema in Bristol and well worth paying extra for.

Service at the table and flexible, helpful and willing staff. The auditorium was comfortable and sound was superb. Bar was perfect for drinks before and after. Like cinemas used to be :-)

First vist beautiful cinema nice food menu , lovely seats , was a great experience. Was surprised nobody looked at our tickets or told us where to go and it was freezing cold which was a shame.

Love this place! So different to the usual crowded American cinema vibe. This is much more classy and chilled. The sofa seats were amazing, the surround sound, the service and the atmosphere. Obviously more pricey than the big chain cinemas but soooo worth it.

Hi Matt A. Unlike a normal cinema, seats near the front are really good seats. I sat central on row C, seat 11. It was perfect!

The cinema is on a corner of the main road on Whiteladies, and there are usually spaces with pay&display available up and down the main stretch. If you're really struggling though there are several side roads (Melrose/Alma/Aberdeen) that you could try, or the local Sainsburys car park which you can find down Alma Road.
