Located in the shopping quarter of Bristol city centre is the Galleries Shopping Centre. Compared to Cabot Circus it is not as grand but it is a decent enough place to have a look around.
There is a Boots and some smaller shops. There is also a decent food court and toilets facilities.
When I visited not all the escalators were working but the lifts were.

Worst car park ever, extremely tight turns, no clear signs of Christmas opening times, nearly locked out for 3 days. Would not recommend to anyone trying to visit Bristol.

A smallish centre on three floors with a food area on the lowest one. Some interesting shops and enhanced when we were there by a band from the RAF collecting for the Poppy Appeal.

We thought it definitely seemed busier and brighter in The Galleries today (midweek) with more shops open than there were at our last visit. We went in the toiletries shops, the dress shops, the charity shops, Boots, Julian Graves, and a few more. Yes, we had a really good shops. The prices seem cheaper in The Galleries than in town. And we had lunch there in Boswells, always very nice!

Came here with my daughter and sister, had lunch in Boswells (cheesy chips, very nice) and then browsed the shops. Most of the outlets are now open. Quite a few people there today. There are some bargains to be had. Shame that Edinburgh Woollen Shop is now closed for good, we're very sad about that. A man was playing the piano, which we enjoyed. I must bring my music next time and give the ivories a tinkle!

Lots of closed units and what there was wasn't great to be honest. maybe with the opening of Cabot Circus, this has been forgotten

There are not many shops, and most shops there sell cheap things. If you want to save money and don't care about quality, then this is a place for you.

Fully understand that with only around 5 shops open for the toilets needing to be reduced and hyper cleaned after each person and that its a overhead for the centre. However for any shopper in Bristol there are only the toilets in the Galleries and I think in Cabot circus. (would that be 6 stalls in total for all male and female shoppers?) Time for BCC to better support the shops, shoppers and economy by providing additional financial support for WC staff and cleaning . Myself and some 15 others queued for over 25 mins, by the time I got to the toilet the queue had grown. Also can't help but notice that some people were in the toilets for an unreasonable amount of time and wonder if they were having a wash rather than some difficulty - please consider other users.

The Galleries were opened in 1991 but since the opening of Cabot Circus some fifteen years later, it has left this mall with a poorer selection of shops compared to those at the other end of Broadmead.

Living as we do in a town with barely any shops now we were almost giddy that there was shops to browse and buy stuff in. Big shops and little shops all seemingly covid friendly just a pity you can’t try stuff on properly but you can obviously buy and return it once you find a loo to try it on in!
