Well organised and very interesting exhibition. We'll worth seeing. Only gripe would be car parking fee, 7.50 for 3 hours which is outside the control of the ss great Britain team.

Very interesting attraction. Good for visitors of all ages. We’ll set up to show how life on board would have been. Addition Brunel exhibit was good too

Great experience. So much information and presented in a fun and interesting way. You need a whole day with lunch in between to really get the best out of it. So much to look at. Loved it.

Nice, well out together museum, exploring and effectively illustrating the ship's history, leading to the ship itself, which has been beautifully restored and shows a comprehensive depiction of live on-board.
If I had to suggest a negative, I would say that access to those with mobility issues (I personally do not ) will most likely find exploring the ship difficult, but as a historical site, these are things that are not easy to rectify
I would however recommend a visit.

Worth every penny of the entrance fee. A really great way to spend a few hours learning about Brunei’s ship and it’s hugely colourful history. Made all the more remarkable by the fact that she’s back where she was constructed.
Special shout out to the friendly and knowledgeable staff who were only too pleased to answer questions.

I can honestly say this Ship/ museum is worth every penny of the entrance fee. The guide at the entrance advised us to follow the route by following the numbers in the guide leaflet. I don’t want to spoil anybody’s experience by giving to much away. I will say when you go on board the ship it’s worth checking out each cabin, kitchens etc and don’t be surprised if you get a sense of smell in each area. We spent 4 hours there and so glad we never rushed through anything. It’s a must see if you are visiting Bristol

A fascinating boat to visit. A must on your list of things to do in Bristol. The boat has been beautifully restored and walking around the different decks gave you an idea of the challenges of travelling in those days. The guides were excellent telling you facts about life on board ship. You are able to walk around the outside of the bottom of the boat in the dry dock which gives you an insight as to how much restoration work they had to do to bring this boat back to life. The different museums are interactive which appeals to all ages. We spent 3 hours going around the different exhibitions and loved every minute. Make sure you book tickets before you arrive to ensure you don't miss out on this experience.

A great experience in Bristol city. Takes you to the 19th century travelling in a 4D style. And the bonus museum is Brunels mind . The hole tour will take around one hour but it worth it..

We visited with our kids aged 10 and 8 and found the overall experience very enjoyable. The ship was incredible and the way the history is told is very well done for all ages. The kids loved seeing all the different decks which were brilliantly dressed (including real smells to make it more realistic!) There were interactive exhibits which were great and overall we really enjoyed the visit.
The only downside was the cost of food in the cafe which was ridiculous, equally the gift shop had the usual rip off goods. This is very common in these type of places but why do this? It can spoil a lovely visit when the kids want a souvenir but everything is so expensive for what it is - the Brunel Bear was £18.50. If it was cheaper surely they would sell more, yes at a lower margin but overall make more money and make the wider experience better. Sorry rant over…the main thing is the ship is amazing and for that reason five stars!

Had a private family birthday function on board in the salon. Wonderful experience, would highly recommend this venue. Staff were very friendly and approachable.
High praise to the chef and their team as well. The food was absolutely amazing, can honestly say that the lamb was the best lamb I have ever tasted.
Would certainly do this again.

Can you get public access to just walk along side it from the pavement. Or is access totally sealed off via a pay booth of some kind. Not needing to go on board.

You have to pay the entry to go onto the wharf and or alongside.
It's well worth the admission fee

The Zoo and Aquarium are OK, Clifton Suspension Bridge and Clifton. There’s the Riverside and Docks area and there is a big shopping complex.

There are lifts, but it would be advisable to phone the box office before you plan to go, as not all of them are big enough to carry a mobility scooter.

Yes if well supervised. Decks can be slippery when wet. A nice day out.
