Watched An Inspector Calls during half term. Lots of students in but i didn't find the toilets or café full and end up waiting for ages. Lots of room for all. Staff were friendly and helpful, although I'm not convinced that only having card payment inside the theatre is the best idea and the WiFi kept cutting out when i was trying to buy a programme.
I thought the theatre was close to the multi-storey car park - very reasonable.
Overall, i liked the site of the theatre, i liked the architecture, i loved the play and staff were a delight. I would absolutely consider going to another production at this venue.

Badly run by ATG.
Went to see Showaddywaddy on Feb 25th - The show was great bt the theatre a let down.
They open the doors fully making the whole foyer freezing - everynoe sitting in coats shivering.
The staff look a mess, the security guards could be mistaken for tramps.
I ordered a Soft Drinks and Ice Cream package but the oly options were Sugar Free 7up, Sugar Free Pepsi or water! They don't stock/sell ANY regular soft drinks only "diet" version made with sweetner. This was not made clear on the options when buying the package - its not fair. Also very limiting in terms of drink options for regular visitors who don't want alcoholic drinks. Was refused a refind because it was a package bought online (from ATG).

Nice theater with good views even 'up in the gods' Very tidy and clean, easy to find. Will look to be going back at some point to see another show.

Nice theater , good show, but the theater makes it as hard as possible to actually buy a physical ticket to give as a gift. First even if you go to the box office they want the name and full address of who it's for (sometimes you may not have that if it's a gift) then after you manage to pay (they are still not accepting cash because they are being a WEF puppet) and you say can I have the tickets they say we'll email them to you. That's no good when you want to put them in a card for someone is it!

Have visited the theatre a few times previously and the experience is generally good. However, visited to see the 2022 pantomime production, Aladdin, and it is one of the worst panto's I've seen. There didn't seem to be any flow to it (random scenes included a Top Gun song, one of the dancers cheering for England in the World Cup (even though England were out and the World Cup finished???) and a fake blooper), and was so cringeworthy in places. Also, all the jokes are based on innuendos and other sexual references, so I would even go as far as to say the panto is not suitable for young children, which defeats the object, surely? Okay, the innuendos are arguably put in for the adults, but it was just very cheap humour, and the visual gags of having a pair of socks stuffed down the front of your trousers, holding a long balloon in such a way or playing the piano with no hands, mean that it is not only the adults that are subject to the adult humour. My 4 year old daughter got bored, so not long after the start of the second half one of our group needed to take her out in the foyer to save her disturbing others around us, and we were not so surprised to see other groups of families actually leaving the theatre way before the end too! I can't recommend the panto to any families that might be considering it, but for adults with a liking for cheap and obvious humour, it is probably something you'd enjoy.

Worst experience of my life. I was loudly verbally abused by an usher in front of a large crowd of strangers who were entertained by her vitriolic condemnation of me. My terrible crime was to look at my phone. When I left my seat she chased after me because she had a duty of care to ensure I was alright. You couldn’t make it up.

Went to see the opening night of Aladdin at waterside tonight, my first time visiting and cannot wait to return. Certainly the nicest modern theatre I’ve been to, excellent staff and facilities. Could literally fault nothing. As for the pantomime, absolutely first class, had me crying with laughter, great for adults ( innuendos just didn’t stop coming ) and my 8 year old daughter also loved it although spent the night wondering why the adults were finding it so funny. Booking to go and see the same show again so that my wife can experience it.

Went to see Jerseyboys and what a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The theatre is clean, spacious and well staffed. Getting refreshments during the interval was effortless unlike other theatres I've been to.

What a truly amazing theatre! Clean, modern and with plenty of legroom. They book some fantastic acts and their staff are clearly happy to work there.

Stalls are best as it is a very large theatre
I would choose centre row R if concerned about legroom

Pretty sure it’s from 60, but worth checking with the box office.

Looking to book for avenue q, like the idea of the slips but some say restricted view (reviewer i cant tell which letter would be a little further back as it looks like from images on google. The ones nearest the stage would be restricted?
Otherwise happy with front row circle 1

We prefer front row in dress circle, younhave a perfect view from here.
The slips have more leg room therefore are more comfortable especially for taller people

Is a short adult likely to get a better view from the back of the stalls or front of the circle?
Does the rail block the view from the front circle row?

We sat in the circle and had a clear view of the stage for both a play, and a conceert a few days later.
It's a modern theatre with good contemporary design, without pillars etc

Hello Im just wondering what sort of view there is from the first circle side balcony? Is it restricted at all? What centre stalls at the back be better?

I haven't sat in the side seats but its my understanding that a good view is had from all the seats at the theatre, some seats at the sides swivel. I have sat at the back and the view is not restricted.
