The breakfast was disgusting, to say but a few things, the hash browns were so oily/greasy, the eggs over cooked and the bacon was like it had been left on a hot plate was hard to cut. Will not be going back. The only good thing about the visit was we were served by a lovely woman called Kayleigh.

Came here to buy some patio furniture which we had viewed previously. Linda was working in the section and she was a terrific help. She was so patient and gave us very good advice. Ann at the main checkout was very friendly and helpful, as always. We are pleased with our purchase and the fact we were allowed time to be sure we were buying the right thing. Great, friendly customer service from both ladies. Thank you both.

Lovely afternoon lunch for my mums birthday very relaxed and good selection of food and drinks reasonable priced plenty of seating and not cramped also I'm afraid of dogs so I feel very relaxed here as no dogs aloud in the café, would definitely recommend this cafe.

I regularly come here with my best friend for breakfast when I stay over. Such a lovely relaxing place and the breakfasts are really nice! Only criticism is they do seem to frequently run out of veggie sausages. But we may have just been unlucky enough to come on the times they have run out. Being with my best friend is where I am at my happiest, so this place is now inbedded into my mind as part of my happy place!🥰

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Nice clean cafe both in and out. Someone was sweeping and cleaning the tables. The cheese scones where nice and fresh and tasty and they asked if we wanted them hot or cold. Coffee tasty and hot. Dogs where welcome outside. Garden centre nice and tidy and good selection of plants we bought three. Nice place to visit.

We have been regular customers here for many years. Today the experience was not up to what we are used to. I was not allowed to have my usual mug of Americano, the mugs are now only used for cappuccino’s. What was a regular coffee is now a large costing £2.65 the new small cups are just 2 mouthfuls for £2.49. The small cups are ridiculously small and impossible for a man with even normal sized hand to hold. We had to ask for the cups to be filled up with hot water, as they were not even full cups. The food is good but limited in choice, I can however add that the staff are lovely but can only do what they are told! I don’t like my choices removed and I also do not like being ripped off.

We always aim to offer the best value on every product and plant we sell in store, including our cafe menus, so it's disappointing for us to see you found this was not the case during your visit.

The reason so many people choose Garden centre cafes is because it's somewhere dogs are welcomes. Not this one! All the other Scotsdales allow dogs in their cafe but Fordham said I had to sit outside in the rain.

Hello Tracey, we're sorry you feel disappointed in your visit to our Fordham store, in particular in our dog policy for the Sunflower Cafe.
We do not allow dogs in our Great Shelford cafe also, as it can compromise space, hygiene and the experience of others around them.

A dismal place, untidy plants, pots blown over. Very few roses. The David Austin selection was limited to about 30 pots of each of 2 varieties which were the same colour. There were a few other varieties. Very disappointing. The Cambridge branch is far superior

We're very sorry to see you found your experience at our Fordham store underwhelming as we always aim to give the best service, stock the highest quality products and plants and generally make the experience the best we can.
We understand your comments on the lack of plants, in particular the David Austin roses. We would like to stress that the availability of all plants, including David Austin roses has been significantly impacted by the enforced lockdown. This means that growers are having to start their growing process again, later in the year than they would normally, or they are limited in the varieties they can produce. The high demand also impacts on delivery times, as all garden centres across the country are placing orders for the plants that are available.
We hope you understand the predicament all garden centres and nurseries are facing and that you will take this into account when visiting our stores.
We did have a large plant delivery at the end of last week, but due to high demand from customers it could be that we had nearly sold out by the time you visited our store.
Regarding the state of our plants, we are doing all we can with limited staff members to look after the plants available as well as serving customers and attending to other areas of the store when needs be. I have forwarded your comments on to the store manager and we will look into the points raised.
We hope you understand that Covid-19 has and will continue to impact the store, but we hope it will be to your liking on your next visit.

No matter when you visit Scotsdales it is busy! Not really surprising as they have a great range of quality plants - and a really good cafe/restaurant. On our last visit we have some great cakes and coffee during our shopping trip - lovely staff too!

Thank you for visiting Scotsdales in Fordham, and for giving us a great review. We're glad you have had such a lovely time at the garden centre and that the staff are always lovely. The cakes in the cafe are definitely something to rave about, Danny and his kitchen team have worked hard together, and created everything delicious.

I have come here many times now due to me residing in the local area. The plants are in very good condition, inside and outside and the gifts/not related to gardening stuff is good too. Really tops the local garden centres (Simpsons etc). Great cafe, nice food.
If you are looking for a nice, welcome, friendly garden centre I would definetly reccomend this place!
