We booked John for a private tour out of season which he very kindly accommodated. His knowledge, friendliness and enthusiasm was second to none. It was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in October with someone so passionate about the island, the history and it's wildlife. We would highly recommend this tour and will go again on our next visit.

This was the second time that we had been on this tour, and John pulled out all the stops to ensure that those revisiting, and the first-timers had an enjoyable and informative tour of the island. The new places he took us had stories that were very surprising - and sometimes shocking, but these stories need to be told, and John tells them very well.

Enjoyed the tour immensely. John offered a wide range of stories, some very funny, all informative, history of the Island and about the environment.

Really fascinating and quite gobsmacking tour around Alderney and it's ancient and modern history and natural history. John has encyclopaedic insights into so many aspects of the island. The WW2 history in particular is mindblowing!

A great way to see the island and gain loads of interesting facts and information about the island. John makes it extremely enjoyable, could have listened to him for hours. Well worth it.

John took a group of 10 out yesterday around Alderney. 9 visiting and myself (a new resident of 18 months). A great 2 1/2 hours seeing some amazing areas of Alderney and learning about the history of the island and the nature and beauty of it. Highly recommended *****

Excellent trip with John giving our group of eight the benefit of his knowledge of the wildlife and history of Alderney. During the rest of our stay we received a friendly wave each time he saw us walking! Thank you John for making our trip fun and so enlightening.

We had a fantastic tour of Alderney with John! He was fun, kind, inclusive and very knowledgeable. We were a multi generational group that John managed to navigate making sure everyone was engaged and having fun. John went way beyond the call of duty on several occasions. John ensured we had a marvelous stay on Alderney. I would not hesitate to recommend John’s tour.

The minibus tours are great! John is a genial host and driver, offering a relaxed yet utterly insightful take on the delights, sights, wildlife and less happy history. Spectacular, comfortable and great value. Get on board today!

Hi there , If I take a short tour to Alderney 17/18/19 March 2020 will I be likely to see the wild flowers ? Is it better to see flowers in Alderney or Guernsey or Jersey? Thanks for your attention .

Alderney is supposed to be renowned for its wild fauna, however to get the best out of your time there it may be advisable to get employ a guide for a couple of hours initially.

May i be given a john contact or a tour that can be used in alderney ?
Is it possible to have a one day tour, arrival in alderney with first flight from guernsey and back to guernsey with last flight ?

Yes we do operate one day tours and including airport transfers is no problem. We can also offer good deals in partnership with great venues for lunch as part of a package if required.
