What a special day touring the creeks and rivers around Mylor and up to Truro in our little Cornish fishing boat. So special sailing up to The Heron mooring up and having a beer - in the sun - just loved it !

We had a very pleasant morning on the river, lots of advice on where to take the boat and easy to follow instructions. Would definitely use Mylar boat hire again.

Great experience and trip down memory lane sailing Cornish Shrimper 383 Abeleki again after 35 years. Launched this boat in 1989 and rediscovered her in the safe hands of Mylor Boat Hire. Although sailed her a lot in distant past just amazing what one forgets!

We hired the Cornish Shrimper for an afternoon yesterday and can totally recommend this company. The boat was perfectly prepped and ready to go for us, there was attention to safety and clear instructions re the boat. We opted to have a staff member with us for added confidence particularly as we had a lot of wind and are more used to smaller dinghies and that made the experience even better. George was brilliant to have onboard with us, very relaxed and fun, and as well as giving me more confidence with the boat, he gave us some great sailing tips and stories along the way. I’m really grateful for his time and effort, my whole family learnt a lot and loved it. We would love to come back and hire again soon and are also considering doing one of the courses with them too.

Visited and hired from here when more local a couple of years back and even though further away this time ww returned to Mylor. No nonsense, No faff, straightforward instructions and advice, great boats and beautiful scenery in the bay. Highly recommend. We will always hire here when in Cornwall. Thanks Harry for sorting us from start to finish. Dont hesistate.

I have just completed a week of shrimper sailing with friends and family .
The business was excellent in every respect- meeting me on my return, sorting the sails every day, filling up (free) fuel,
Keeping everything ship shape. All of the staff are amazingly friendly professional
And keen to help. I cannot recommend this business more. Just brilliant fun. I will repeat later this year if I can.

We hired the Pilot boat for a day and had an amazing time. We were professionally briefed at the start and given clear instructions on the boat and where we could go in a day. The boat was clean and well maintained and well fitted out. The day was spent going up the Fal and then fishing in the way back. A really memorable experience and we will definitely be back for more!
