‪Another great experience with Escape!‬

‪We just had our second batch of 3 x 2-on-1 surf lessons with Escape Surf School and it was amazing! We had lessons with the school last year too and can testify that the lessons are designed to help you progress individually. Since our first sessions last year, we've learned how to consistently pop up, paddle out, and even catch unbroken waves. We've now got enough knowledge to carry on improving on our own for the next few months!

Our surf coach Henry was super cool and patient with my boyfriend and me. He was great at teaching us surf techniques, but he also taught us how to read the sea, which made us feel more comfortable going out back of the set. He made the whole experience fun and encouraged us along the way.

The school as a whole is great too! The staff are all friendly and the amenities are top-notch. Plus, the location is perfect for a surf school. We hope to return soon and further improve our surfing skills with the help of Escape Surf School. If you're looking to learn how to surf or just want to improve your skills, I highly recommend this school! Thank you!! :)‬

‪Great surf and support!‬

‪This was a really great session! We were a group of friends enjoying our time in Newquay and all joined the half day beginners session. Richard was really great! Some of the girls were a bit nervous, but Richard worked with each of us and we were all standing up on our boards by the end. It's a very safe feeling beach despite the size of some waves that we had and he spent the time to ensure we were all safe and working towards our best stance on the boards. Thank you again from the Global travellers!‬

‪Brilliant surf school!‬

‪Honestly can't rate Escape Surf School high enough! I have now attended one lesson and two separate skills enhancement weekends with them and have consistently been blown away by their knowledge, coaching ability, great organisation, value for money and welcoming friendly atmosphere. I would thoroughly recommend them for surfers of any level.‬

‪Fantastic experience‬

‪My teenagers had a great time with their instructor Lucy. She was patient and very encouraging. The instructor was knowledgeable and really attentive. Fantastic experience. Definitely recommend Escape surf school. The kids are keen to come again!‬

‪Choose this school!!‬

‪We had a excellent time, Lucy was super patient and explained everything super well. We had booked this as a birthday surprise for my sister and even though we are extremely nervous anxious people we were made to feel really welcome and were treated warmly by everyone we met from the moment we walked in the door. They even greeted us by name! The weather was absolutely awful, very windy and pouring rain and yet Lucy and Henry were calm and explained proper board safety very well. I even managed to get up on my knees and ride a few waves! Cannot express how much I appreciate how great the coaches are, and how glad I am as a socially anxious person that I chose this place to try a new skill!‬

‪Great school, highly recommend‬

‪Loved my lesson with Lucy, she has the patient of a saint and was a great teacher! Managed to catch a few waves despite never having surfed so I’ll take that as a win. All of the Escape team were super friendly and I’d highly recommend. I’ll be back! :-)‬

‪The Best!‬

‪Absolutely superb lesson for my daughter (Age 12) from Mike Young.
Built her confidence as a novice surfer with great and clear coaching tips. Superb with her in the water.
Cannot recommend a surf coach highly enough.
Brilliant customer service and high level surf coaching for all abilities.‬

‪Amazing experience‬

‪I took my young teen son for a couple of surfing lessons whilst on holiday. I nitially only booked one but rescheduled holiday activities to go again. Facilities are top notch, instructors really friendly and I went form never surging to consistently riding waves standing up on the board. Amazing, thank you all for making it a really great couple of days. I will DEFINITELY be back and so will my son.‬

‪Excellent Enhanced Surf Performance Weekend‬

‪This weekend is aimed at intermediate surfers and is jammed packed with surf skate training, yoga, surf sessions and photo/video analysis. Escape really know their stuff. Even within a group Mike and Reubin give tailored coaching to each surfer and make sure everyone is catching waves (and having fun!). Not to mention the team behind the lens capturing the waves and wipeouts from both in water and on land. Escape even take the time to arrange a 1-1 session after the weekend to give individual feedback. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their surfing!‬
