being new to paddleboarding, I booked on a group lesson which included a couple of hours out on the day. Tegan was a good instructor and very encouraging. had an amazing experience, made better by the excellent weather and seals swimming nearby

Me and my 13 yr old daughter had the most amazing paddle boarding lesson with Isla. She explained everything thoroughly and made our two hour session very enjoyable. Thank you Isla. Also she smelt lovely! (perfume ordered when I got home). Alison & Claudia from Liverpool

Outrigger experience - Fantastic !
We took the Hawaiian Canoe/ Outrigger out on Saturday morning and Glenn was very informative about the area, the history and the sea life as the kids enjoyed rowing out to sea.
The kids loved it , and even got to help with mooring the boat at the end.
Highly highly recommended and thanks Glenn!

Excellent experience all round. Very helpful and friendly staff and instructor in our lesson was top draw. Made our SUP lesson very enjoyable.

Great couple of hours spent with Charlie teaching both me and my daughter how to paddle board , and exploring a nearby cove.

We had the best time on our guided kayaking tour. We were fortunate enough to have a seal swim straight up to us and have a little nose around.
Our guide Glen was extremely knowledgeable on the area and a great kayaking teacher.
Will definitely go back when next in the area.

We took our two boys on a guided Hawaiian canoe tour. Glenn was a brilliant guide who provided the perfect mix of fun, local knowledge, and instruction. The paddling was less strenuous than anticipated and our kids soon took to it. Coasting back on the tide with a following wind really helped too! We enjoyed seeing the local wildlife including the vast numbers of spiders crabs this year, and even caught a few discarded shells for our boys to take home.
We hired a SUP the next day, more for the boys to jump off than any advanced yoga positions, and again benefitted from sound advice on the wind and current so as to have a an easy and safe glide back. Great equipment and fun knowledgeable people. The outrigger canoe is a real treat.

Amazing guided kayak trip. Fantastic wealth of local and marine knowledge. We all had a great time and learnt a lot at the same time. Will definitely book another trip next time we are in St Ives

Glenn - what can I say, a cool guy that loves his job and has a passion for everything. Very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. I had reservations on boats (I really don't like the sea), but the Hawaiian canoe was fine. The sea was calm, and the nods from locals paddling by was just normal to Glenn.
Glenn's enthusiasm is much needed and rubs off on people - I meet many people like this, and other than my quirky humour, I simply can't capture and emulate this spark. Glenn has this in spades.
As well as Seals and other wildlife, Glenn also spotted a juvenile Guillemot in difficulty. "I will pop back later and help it". I am reliably informed he paddled back later and did indeed rescue it. What a guy.
I would heartily recommend this to anyone. Paddling was not very strenuous either, so no worries there.
In terms of getting to, there is a car park further up the hill (Porthrepta Long Stay Car Park) then a walk down the hill. Make sure you have sun cream.
Would I do this again? Yes. If you have younger children, the explorer one looking at the things in the sea is a must - as an adult I was sad I wasn't doing that one!
Safety is paramount to Glenn, and in the event the weather is poor, there is always an opportunity to move to another day, it might be useful to book earlier in your holiday in case this happens.

We had a fab few hours with Glenn kayaking around Carbis Bay. The tour was a great way to learn how to kayak whilst exploring & learning about the area. Glenn is clearly very knowledgeable & passionate about the area & we felt instantly comfortable given it was our first time kayaking

I’m afraid I don’t know as we hired paddle boards. Try sending a message to the company though. They have a website.
