Fantastic visit with my 6yr old son. We both absolutely loved it. Staff were very friendly. Have recommended to friends and family.

Very informative and interesting tour. There is a choice half way around to take the low passage. We did and we ended up nearly crawling along parts which the kids loved!

What a fab place to visit! Our tour guide Magan was wonderful! Very informative, with lots of patients. (there was a particularly irritating child) she handled it soo well. Very interesting tour. Great way to spend an hour!
Honestly I'd come back and bring more people with me. The tour was brilliant.

We really enjoyed the visit to Exeter Underground Passages. Helen our guide was informative and light hearted in equal measures.

Wow. Yes it’s only tunnels but it was so interesting. I must admit what really added to the experience was our lovely guide, Helen. She had a lovely sense of humour which made for a fun time. So thank you so much Helen

Wow! What an interesting place to visit. Visitor centre was informative before heading along the tunnels. Very interesting, humid on a hot day. Glad of the hard hat as I did bump my head once or twice!! I was given the choice of doing the last lower tunnel but decided my knees would not cope with the crawl so opted out! Others including a very tall gentleman did do it. Children in the group thought that was the best bit!

Really interesting, good background information before and after you head underground. The tour itself is obviously a highlight, be prepared for a bit of crouching if you are tall though!
Informative and friendly staff, and definitely a good activity on a rainy or, in our case, very hot day.

It was quite welcoming being able to get out of the intense summer heat. The display of various things, before you go underground is interesting, informative and prepares you for what you are about to experience. On with the hard hat and away we go. The guide gives excellent explanations of what you are seeing and experiencing and where abouts you now are under the city centre. A well organised and executed tour. Possible framed prints of what is above you would be good.

The underground passages were amazing. A walk through the history of the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. One of the best attractions in the city.

Well what can I say. If you’re a fan of bricks then this will be 100% up your street… or underneath it I should say!
The admission price is fair, seeing as I’ve now been underground for roughly three weeks and can’t seem to find a way out.
10/10 would visit again. If I could find a way out.

There is plenty of parking in the city but this is in the main shopping area. Or use the really good park and ride and enjoy a day in Exeter with no hassles

There are different prices based on whether you have adult, child or concession. I had a student price which I think was about £5? It’s less than £10 regardless I think

Would are the prices like? And how often are tours?
Apologies for the delay in replying but this account isn't regularly monitored. Prices are as follows:
Adults: £6.00
Concessions: £5.00
Children: £4.00
Family ticket (up to 2 adults & 3 children): £18.00
Tours run hourly or every half hour depending on how busy we are. :)

Hi, apologies for delayed response but this account is not monitored daily. The tours take approximately 40 minutes.

Yes the Underground Passages are open daily during school holidays, 9.30am - 5.30pm (10.30am - 4pm on Sundays), including the upcoming Easter and May bank holidays, and throughout the summer.
