What a lovely hotel, comfortable, clean, lovely staff, super afternoon tea on the terrace outside. Can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and quiet rooms, delicious breakfast with professional serving, pet friendly staff, wifi - netflix. The hotel is also very close to the coast and the center of the city. I recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Plymouth.

Stayed overnight as part of a 4 day break in Plymouth.
Very friendly owners and staff, who couldn’t do enough for you.
Rooms very modern with excellent facilities. Highly recommended.

Great Hotel across from the Hoe. Has had recent re refurbishment and is looking great. Stayed in room 11 spacious with clean and modern decor. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Truly excellent breakfast with wide range of options. Currently 3 stars but presents more like 4. Great value for money. Has free car parking where other hotels charge on top of room rate. This hotel is a real find.

I came to Plymouth for a weeks worth of work and stayed at the Invicta Hotel. Amazing Place with great views but my stay was very disappointing as my room was Very run down, dated needs decorating and bad damp smells. Unless they Update the Hotel I won't be coming back.

Reasonably priced, breakfast was very good, room had recently been re-furbished and free working wifi was included. All the staff were friendly and I'd stay there again. very good central location next to the Hoe

The Invicta Hotel is in a convenient place to explore The Hoe and surrounding area. It is clean and the staff are personable and you will be looked after: but should you have a query, there will be an answer for everything and probably not what you would like to hear!
The hotel literature needs updating, as it states there will be fresh bottled water daily, there wasn't! The heating is supposed to be on from 5am-10am, but my radiator was cold by 8.30am, while the en-suite one was warm all day. Space was at a premium in the en-suite, with nowhere to put anything, but the towels are changed daily and you will have fresh bed linen if staying for more than three days, which is good. A better quality toilet paper would save the hotel money in the long run.
The breakfast menu shows pain-au-chocolat and croissants, but there weren't any and as appealing the jam and marmalade containers were, they always looked as though someone had been there before me, which was extremely off putting. Real butter instead of synthetic spread would be a lot better.
There is a lot of room here for improvement, however, the price is palatable and I would probably stay here again.

Wonderful family run hotel! My husband and I are disabled however the Invicta staff made our two night stay great! Nothing was too much trouble and they were all really kind and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and roomy. The décor in the room was lovely and so was the bathroom. Breakfast was of the highest quality and they were really helpful with my gluten intolerance! 10/10 We have rebooked already for November. Thank you so much!

Came here a very long time ago while waiting for a resident to change. Uninspiring bar. No sign of events for passers by or any kind of 'nightlife'. Came in similar circumstances this spring early evening and what I think was still the bar was closed or at least unattended.

Well this is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and certainly won't be the last, the staff are fantastic company, the food and service is A1.
Want somewhere to stay that's friendly, welcoming and comfortable....look no further!
