Dear Karen T, Of course I was very upset to read your comments about our bar. We are very proud of our levels of service as you will see from the positive comments from others on TripAdvisor. For our licensing requirements we have an incident book that we fill in every evening, we have CCTV and we also have a licence to sell alcohol until 11pm at night. Having checked with my manager, CCTV and the incident book I know exactly who you are. We strive to give our customers the best experience we can but sometimes expectation is too high. For you to be content, judging by your behaviour, you need a bar that will stay open illegally late for you, is not concerned about how you treat the crew and turn a blind eye when you deliberately smash your glass to the ground because you are being asked to leave at 11.40 pm, 20 minutes after drinking up time, 40 minutes after last orders. I am very sorry that we can not live up to your expectations and wholly suggest that you try elsewhere in the future as I do not want to let you down again and will happily let somebody else deal with your offensive attitude. Trip Advisor is an excellent tool to provide information for people looking for a nice night out and reading reviews. It is entirely spoilt by those who should be drinking in a zoo. I hope this does not put anybody off coming to our bar in which we take great pride. Jim
