Lovely bar next to the theatre, came for drinks after my birthday lunch, had a bottle of wine. Good value and great service .

Wow! A really quirky bar and a fantastic bartender! You just can’t stop looking around the place, it’s wonderful! So many theatrical type things to look at, good selection of wines beers and spirits and friendly clientele!

Left the theatre straight after a show and sat down on a bench directly outside the exit to wait for friends as I was alone. My friends found me and then we were swiftly approached by a woman with red hair and were asked quite abruptly if we’d like to order drinks. We were unsure as we didn’t realise these benches did not belong to the theatre. She was very abrasive and rude and said “umm but you’re at a bar” very sarcastically. We may have ordered drinks upon realising that we were sat at the next doors bar benches however her attitude made us feel very unwelcome.

I used to drink in here regularly some 40 years ago before I left the town. It always was a lovely bar with great service and the young woman who served us last Friday afternoon was lovely and attentive and very professional. Served me the best presented gin and tonic I've had in along time!

A beautifully ornate pub next to the Theatre Royal. Well worth a visit when you are in Brighton. Good beer choice.

Great bar in centre of town, came with friends after my birthday lunch, its table service and the staff are so friendly, good value as well

The Collonade is a brilliant bar, situated right next door to the famous Theatre Royal. It has great decor, friendly & welcoming staff, and the biggest choice of gins imaginable. Each time I've visited Brighton, I've made a point of returning to the Collonade Bar, and it continues to maintain its level of excellence. First class in every way.

Not my first ever visit here but I want to thank Lyndon and the rest of the team for making my couple of visits this time round a fun time. Great service and they make an effort to be friendly with a bit of banter. Makes you feel welcome. On top of that, great ales and a choice of spirits rounds it all off nicely. When theatre gets back to what it was there will be even more people here for a drink so arrive early.
