Lovely oasis bang in the middle of this beatiful historic town. It is well kept and in sections with a nice refreshment cafe. a real discovery

We stopped here for lunch. They have a little kiosk that has freshly made sandwiches and cakes and tea all served on china crockery. They were busy so there was a bit of a wait but it is a nice place to relax and have lunch.

This lovely place is in the centre of Lewes and is maintained beautifully with interesting planting in the borders and some lovely trees. There is always somewhere tranquil if you need peace.

I fell upon this place which made it an even more lovely treat. It was a sunny spring afternoon at 4pm and lightly sprinkled with other visitors sitting on blankets enjoying this gem of a garden. Loved the intention behind everything from how things were planted to the sculptures along the way. My day was made much better from stopping at this garden.

My son and I spent the better part of the morning enjoying the peace and tranquility of this beautiful park. The shady trees were a very welcome respite from the sweltering heat.

We spent the best part of an hour wandering through and sitting in these delightful and historic gardens. The flowerbeds and wilder areas are looking beautiful at the moment.

Well maintained gardens, ideal for a family picnic with lots of different areas to keep little ones interested. Toilets are clean and tidy too.

Are there public toilets at the Grange please?

Hi Suzanne. I don't think so because I need to go regularly and always look for them and I can't say that I noticed any.
However, I did ask at the council offices near the station if I could use their toilet which they did.

Street parking either end of the gardens (yellow line with badge) or pay & display. Toilets over by the rose garden.

There is on street parking in Southover a Road adjacent to the park, for which you can pay at the nearby ticket machine.

Hello there! May I know how big is the garden and how long does it take to walk around it?

It is not over large, but quite beautiful. You could walk around it in less than half an hour, or if you stop to admire the flowers you should allow an hour, (plus an extra 29 mins for a cuppa from the kiosk). There is plenty of seating dotted around.
