‪Having just had a great Lunch at The Mayflower the family said a walk was needed Imp Gardens a good walk and then home to Birtherday cake..‬

‪Pretty place‬

‪Discovered this on our way to the Montpellier gardens. Well kept formal gardens, full of gorgeous tulips at this time of the year. Plenty of places to sit with lots of people enjoying the space on a sunny day. Stroll through if you’re in Cheltenham.‬

‪Stunning gardens‬

‪Stunning gardens with lots of lovely paths and seating areas. In appropriate seasons has some amazing flower displays. Also has a bar which is nice to sit out and enjoy the scenery. ‬

‪Drinks in the park‬

‪This bar is situated in the grounds of the imperial gardens.
Beautiful flower beds and well kept lawns.
Plenty of chairs and tables and marquee
If weather not good. Large screen for the olympics
Gave everyone something.
The staff are lovely and friendly.
Food looked good although we didn’t eat.
The drinks a a little expensive but the outlook
For sitting drinking is perfect.
Love it.‬

‪The umbrellas on the various 131 hotels on the West side of the main central garden (Imperial Square) of Cheltenham are quite ghastly.

They totally traduce the beautiful placement and architecture of the Square and gardens...

Who wants to look at the the whole Western side of this Classic Square covered by umbrellas?

Get real...

‪This is a small, pleasant garden, on the promenade. It was pretty, but not a destination. If you’re looking for outside space for children, dogs, this isn’t it. The cafe, though, was nice.‬

‪Beautiful Garden Square‬

‪A beautiful Regency Park and gardens located just a short walk from the shops. After finding a place to street park we met friends for a picnic and ended up ordering pizzas and drinks from the bar in the park. Toilet facilities were also located nearby. I would recommend going as the atmosphere was upbeat, safe and everyone took note of the social distancing rules!‬
