We had Jane for 4 fabulous days, she is incredible! No request is too big or too small, if she does not know something, she will find out! She is a delightful lady in every way. She does her homework and then some. Far and away the BEST Tour Guide EVER!

We had an excellent tour with Jane Martin and Tours of the Realm and I would highly recommend her to anyone traveling in the area. She promptly picked us up at the cruise ship terminal in Dover and was an outstanding guide. We toured Canterbury, including the cathedral, had a beautiful drive through the countryside, visited the white cliffs of Dover and ended with Dover Castle. Jane is very personable and we so enjoyed spending the day with her. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and tour with Jane!

We just came back from a 2 week trip spent in England and Norway. Our day with Jane was one of the highlights of our trip and by far the best day we spent in England! She was full of energy, so enjoyable to talk to, kept the history and knowledge of the area interesting and made the day seamless in all of its transitions. She was a great communicator and helped us navigate the train system from London to Canterbury as well as our return from Dover to London. She helped us maximize our time and even as a bonus took us to some off-the-beaten-path place. She found us an excellent little pub for lunch. We felt like locals! We had so much fun with Jane! Highly recommend! Thanks Jane!

Jane is such a joy to travel with! We have traveled with Jane 6 times and we will continue to book Jane in the future. Jane is such a wonderful addition to any trip, as though you are traveling with a great friend or family member. Jane is very organized and planful and can accommodate whatever you many need. She keeps you informed and up to date on realistic options for your time with her so that you get to experience what is most important to you. Jane is very attentive to everyone in your party and their needs. We have so much fun and learn so much in our time with Jane and most importantly Jane leaves you with wonderful memories!!

I am so glad we booked this tour! Right from the time I contacted Jane, my intuition told me I had made the right choice for my family’s visit. She was so helpful when planning our trip, and our day went by in a flash. Jane was prompt picking us up, and her car was very comfortable. She was so sweet to my 7 year old daughter, who took to her immediately. About 30 min into the tour, my daughter whispered to me that Jane was already her favorite guide (which is saying something, because we have traveled all over the world with her!). We loved that the day was relaxed, flexible, and had the perfect mix of history, gems off the beaten path, beautiful countryside, and photo opportunities. Jane took us to some beautiful churches and country roads, and we toured Dover, Sandwich and Canterbury. I would highly recommend hiring Jane for your tour of Kent/Canterbury.

We only had two days with Jane and wished for more. What a knowledgeable lady. I set her a different tour from normal. No stately homes or castles. We wanted to see the Kent countryside and non formal gardens. Jane didn’t disappoint. We saw Great Dixter, a magnificent cottage and meadow garden in full glory and she arranged for us to have a private visit with a friend who was opening her garden that weekend with the NGS. It was magic. We saw the High Weald and Romney Marsh, two absolutely charming little churches and the glory of Canterbury Cathedral. Then the famous white cliffs up close. I could go on but we would definitely recommend Jane’s Tours of the Realm for anyone who wants to see the real Kent.

We continue to go back to Jane because she is never less than perfect. Even when our travel delayed our arrival, she managed to rethink everything and make sure a bad experience getting there was soon forgotten. Jane listens and knows what each customer wants and does everything within her power to make sure it is perfect. As long as she will have us, we will keep coming back!!!

Jane was our guide to a week tour of Kent and Sussex. She planned a wonderful tour filled with castles, churches, scenic walks and wine tastings. She even worked in a detour to a church where an ancestor of fine has a commemorative marker. Jane is so much fun to be with and so considerate of her guests. Highly recommend her!!
