This is a must-visit for any collector. The instant feeling of nostalgia is why we collect and you get that here. They have a great selection and the prices are beyond fair. One thing that sets the place above others is the staff. We dealt with James he couldn't have been more helpful. Knowledgeable and shown an interest in us and what we collect. I wish it was in our hometown, but it gives us a reason to visit Leicester even if its just for Vintage Toys! Keep up the great work guys!

This shop is awesome for old and vintage toys! I would definitely come here again! The star wars figurines are great too.

I have visited lots of collectible shops both in the UK and further afield, any new place I visit I always research whether there is a shop selling vintage toys as I have an obsession with vintage Star Wars which is slowly becoming an obsession with Kenner Jurassic Park... which led me to the guys in the Leicester Vintage and Old Toy Shop. Everyone who works there are attentive and friendly and only too happy to chat about all things collectible you can tell they have a passion for what they do. I ended up spending almost an hour discussing the blue and black variant 'Endor' blasters from the vintage Star Wars line! They stock everything from MASK, Ghostbusters, Transformers G.I Joe to He-Man and everything in between. It's easy to find just out the back of Highcroft shopping centre, get yourself down there!

Me and a friend stumbled into here by accident and were not disappointed. We were really pleased with the range of transformers, but they had a massive range of all things that ilk, both old and new. We got some great deals and will be sure to return soon.

The best toy shop in Leicester. No question. The staff are so knowledgeable that even the most dedicated collector will be impressed. I try to visit once a month to add to my ever growing collection of toys from the past. The selection is amazing and the prices are excellent value for money. It's hard to find anywhere selling pre-loved items for anything comparable to that of the online marketplace, but somehow they do it!
I visited the shop when it started it's humble beginnings in the top floor of the market many moons ago from which it has grown and moved to it's own shop with more shelf space for more amazing stuff.
I started collecting transformers (just before the movies landed) and one thing l would urge is to take the staffs advice. As l keep saying to my wife, they are 'future antiques'. Good collectors toys hardly every depreciate. In fact they almost always do the opposite.
So if you are after a unique gift, want to invest in something for a good return, want to add to your collection or just want a walk down memory lane spend 5 minutes the next time you are in town and pop in. You will not be disappointed!
