Have not been to Lords for a while but am a regular attendee at grounds around the world and most in uk. Went for first day of test v Ireland which England dominated. I can’t remember any national sporting event with less crowd participation or atmosphere. Very disappointing, not cheap and not good. Would not rush back

A fascinating look behind the scenes at the home of cricket. Our guides, Mike and Jayesh, were brilliant, with lots of anecdotes and inside knowledge. Highlights were the museum, (check out
Angus Fraser's ENORMOUS cricket shoes) the Long Room and the changing rooms (smaller than you'd expect, but fascinating). Many fantastic portraits of cricketing legends, particularly the big one of Viv Richards on the stairs.

Awesome tour of historic cricket ground.
Jeff the tour guide was super knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories making the tour extra pleasant.
Thoroughly enjoyed as an Aussie cricket fan and recommend this tour to any sports fan.

Had a great day watching a county match. There are useful facilities on site though quite pricey. Very enjoyable

Excellent , detailed yet entertaining tour of Lord's Cricket Ground. Strange to see the place empty of players and spectators and feel as though we had the entire ground to ourselves. Fascinating visit to the museum, then walk through the Long room and both the home and away dressing rooms, getting to stand on the balconies. We also visited the stands and the media centre. Plenty of photo opportunities. Interesting even for those who are not cricket fans.
Shout out to our tour guide Bob, who made the tour extra special. Fantastic knowledge, answered all questions and quickly established a rapport with each member of the group, coming out with facts relevant to where we came from and our special heroes and interests.
You would probably get the most of this tour by going on a non-match day as we did, as access to the special areas is easier, but do make sure you go back another time to watch a match and soak up the match-day atmosphere.

We were a group of 11pax who went for a tour of Lords Cricket Ground. Our tour guide was Jeff. He was very impressive and knowledgeable. Initially, I had presumed that the tour would be boring as I do not know much about cricket. However, Jeff made it very interesting and exciting.
Well worth a visit and definitely recommend Jeff as a tour guide.

Had a great visit to Lords cricket ground,the guide Mike and the wonderful Brenda were outstanding hosts.Mike has many great stories and information on the ground.
Visit to the museum is first and then a comprehensive tour of the ground ,including long room.home & away changing rooms and media centre included.
A must visit for any cricket lover.

Well back here today for the match v Essex.Now a Middlesex member,so sitting in the Pavillion

Lord's is known as the Home of Cricket. Lord's is the home of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). This year, a number of international matches have been scheduled, including a game between the Australians and the English. The Ashes are the oldest and most bitterly contested series in international cricket. Lord's is the most picturesque cricket ground in England; true cricket afficionados. will travel a long distance to see a match here.

Mike was lovely and extremely knowledgeable on the ins and outs of Lord's. Highly recommend the guided tour if you love cricket, lots of amazing memorabilia on display and a surreal peek behind the scenes into a day in the life of a cricketer at Lord's. Special mention to Bob for shepherding the group!

I see references to "2 for 1" vouchers/deal in the reviews but can't find Lord's tour on daysout website. Is 2for1 National Rail promo still valid for a tour to Lord's?

You could try Soutine in St John’s Wood high street, virtually opposite Lord’s behind St John’s Wood burial ground. There’s also an Ivy Brasserie in the sand street and various other less up market eateries. Enjoy!

To bring in food i would need to use a back pack. Are back packs ok to bring into Lords? Thank you are kind assistance.

Hi I am going to Ireland Vs England next week, July 2019 and wondered. is there bars / shops / café / vendors in the grounds of lords to buy lunch in the grounds or do you bring food in?
What is dress code for attending the match - looks quite informal on the TV , is it dressy or formal?

Hi just a quick question - I've just bought my husband a voucher for a hamper when he goes to the test match in August - where does he redeem his voucher please? Is it easy to do?
