We've recently done Hidden City's Hunt for the Cheshire Cat. The game is a treasure hunt-style walk round London, no public transport is required during the game but depending on where you are staying, you might need it to get to the start or back from the finish. It is outdoors except for a few times when the answers to clues are obtained from indoors by asking a question of bar or shop staff. You don't spend any longer indoors than you need to and can skip these parts if you wish (although you will get time penalties - but, unless you are highly competitive, it's the taking part that is the key thing). It is fairly easy to avoid other people. Overall, it was a great thing to do. We had 2 teams of 3 and took our time. It was just over 4 hours for us but you could go at your own pace and it would have been longer if we'd taken breaks for food/drink. We started around 2.30 but I'd recommend an earlier start and make a day of it. I don't know what their other games are like but I would think the idea is pretty similar. Make sure your phone has plenty of battery life as instructions are relayed by text (SMS) with some QR codes.

I organized a group game of this via Zoom. I took 'player' to mean each Zoom log on - a couple counted as one, as did three housemates together. Paid for 15 players but there were 25ish of us actually playing. You just need to be able to see the clues on the phone/website.

We played as 4 couples over a Zoom call on a Saturday night; with drinks. All in it took around 90 minutes, but we weren’t rushing through it.

Hi, To clarify 950abbeyc's reply, there are times within which the game needs to be played in order to gain entry to certain pubs and other venues included on the route. We cannot give you access to these outside of their opening hours. "Off the clock" breaks are built in to every game and you are welcome to take additional breaks "on the clock", bearing in mind the gameplay times advised by us for each game for the reasons described above.
