We used to watch plays at the Brockley Jack a lot when we lived nearby. We've moved away now but went to see A Play With Speeches when we visited London this month - and great to see the theatre is as good as ever.
The sets, lighting and productions are always to a really high, professional standard, and the acting performances are always excellent. All this for a remarkably low ticket price.
No need to go to tourist town and pay exorbitant prices when you can support a local theatre off-west end that gives opportunities to talented writers, directors and actors at a fraction of the cost.

We went to see Jekyll and Hyde at the Theatre. We've never been to the Brockley Jack or the theatre before. Both were lovely. We were a little early so had a drink in the pub first. It has a wonderfully relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are friendly. You can take your drinks from the bar upstairs with you to the performance, so you can get a meal or have a drink before hand and then walk up to your seat directly from the pub (no need to wait outside in the cold). The theatre it's self is small but perfect as you are so close to the action you really get involved with the performance. I'd definitely go back and highly recommend.

We hadn't been here for a while and saw a show about Charlie Chaplin was on and thought we would like to see it.
We booked and had excellent customer service from Karl, due to my husband being disabled.
We enjoyed the play, there was great actors and an interesting story.
We will definitely be back to see something else here.

Went last week to see The Invisible Man at this small theatre. The actors were excellent, as was the set and sound etc I would highly recommend any play at this great local theatre, as having been a few times I have never been dissappointed.

I just adore coming to this pub after work.
The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome.
The studio Jack Theatre is amazing, great young creative energy, great new plays. It’s great that after in the pub we can chat to actors around a pint.
I strongly advice anyone in the south east to come here !!!

When we come to this theatre, we wonder why we haven't been for a while. We just love this theatre. It is easy to travel to and if you drive there is on-street parking close by.
It is a Studio theatre and only seats about 60 people, so it is a up close and personal experience. I would highly recommend the place.
My husband is disabled and they are always very accommodating with his disability.

Este pub reune boa comida, funcionários simpáticos, ambiente aconchegante e música super agradável. É uma pub que sempre está cheio mas sempre se encontra uma mesa disponível!

The theatre is on the ground floor, and has air conditioning. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I saw a great show and am going back again.
The pub is relaxed but efficient, I can recommend the lime soda. The pub grub was popular and looked good.

We saw Stepping Out and it was a great show with a great cast. The theatre only seats about 50 people, so it is a up close and personal experience. I would highly recommend the place, it's can't be faulted.
My husband is disabled and they were very accommodating with his disability.
We had a couple of drinks here.It is a great place, the drinks are chilled and there is lots of ice available. The atmosphere comfortable and the staff warm, friendly and efficient. They have enough staff to deal with customers when it is busy, which is always a bonus.
