Before I go into detail about how terribly awful this event was, please expect an aggressive, dismissive and rude response from the owner of the company Robbing Rob.
A friend and I had booked 2X tickets for speed dating. The venue and time of event changed very last minute.
We specifically booked an event age range 27-39. Robbing Rob completely deceived us with this and we ended up having people in their very early 20’s.
Nathan, the host wasn’t much better. Very unapproachable, rude and unorganised.
The ratio to women to men was very unbalanced, leaving the men waiting for 45 minutes for their rotation. This was nicknamed the (graveyard). The process of liking any of the matches is online, but we were unable to access this because Robbing Rob did not put us on the system. What did we actually pay for?
I emailed Robbing Rob after this event giving him feedback and asking for a solution. He was very antagonistic with his response and very unprofessional, leaving me no choice but to express my review online. Will never return and I advise you be cautious of this event.

I've been on about half a dozen of these . Most of the women apart from a couple have been fine. If you are a guy going to this type of situation then you are on a hiding to nothing. It's basically geared to a woman's benefit & it's not sour grapes on my part just me being honest. I'm about 3 from 80 in terms of matches

Every event I go is well organised, very nice venues and hosts! It's always fun and you meet a lot of people. The dating score cards are a very helpful addition. Overall great company!

This should be called date in a slapdash!
After months of thinking about going for the first time I finally made the plunge.
I bought a ticket based on the fact women were sold out, despite this there were more men than women. If you also factor in there were ‘friends’ brought along. I mean why the fcku sell multiple tickets, the word greed springs to mind!
So factoring this in your against the odds before you start, say 20/14.
2 of the women were drunk and one of them was even abusive towards myself. Despite reporting it to the organiser, he didn’t care.
I’m not saying I’m an oil painting or anything but maybe I was unlucky as most were unattractive (which is not the be and end all) or had no personality, or both. To summarise an event for desperate women.
If you want further proof, why is it most guys hung about at the end for a few drinks and all the women couldn’t get out the door fast enough.
The event had loud music playing forcing you to shout at each other, by the sixth person I had a soar throat. There wasn’t even a break to grab a drink or use the toilet and I was bursting. This is a kind review I could go into a lot more detail but I think you get the point. Better than online dating? Marginally…….
On the plus side good for meeting some nice guys!

What a scam. The event was at 7. I showed up 7,15… as i thought the first venue mentioned was the first stop.
The venue mentioned on the event page had NO CLUE about it and was pretty annoyed more than one person had asked.
I find it incredibly rude to leave no real detailed indication of the event, its route, and no organiser contact.
What terrible management and planning.
I wasted money.. who the hell knows where and if there was a group of people and in any case you don’t leave a spot just 15min in…
I want my money back.
It’s stressful enough having to resolve to these events to meet people, further more if left stranded alone.

Great event, a total of around 30 people and we had about 3 mins for each date. Would highly recommend.

These events are great as they are so varied, there been rooftop and boat parties hosted by the same company. Everyone is so friendly and you don't think you're at a dating event.
Rob is an attentive host and tries his best to keep everyone happy on the night too.
I would definitely recommend even for a night out, you get to meet so many interesting people at the most exclusive settings.

100% recommend! It’s a much better way to meet people than online dating! You don’t always find someone that you want to match with at a particular event, but everyone is always very chatty, conversation flows easily and there’s a great atmosphere! A lot of people go on their own, so don’t get put off if you can’t find a friend to go with! Lots of different events to choose from, giving you lots of options and venues!

It did go fine but I feel that a note or a scorecard system would be better compared to the digital system of selecting matches as I ended up not getting any matches. Also I feel people at times also forget to fill it up there so maybe fill these things up during the event? Though it was a nice experience which is why I came back again.

I recently attended the singles boat party it was very fun I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something more low-key then speed dating as you get more time to talk to people and make connections.
