I believe it completely lost its original alternative touch once it got refurbished.What used to be a key place for street art has now become a quirky hipster pub that is visually appealing but with an awful music selection that makes want to escape after 10 minutes there.

A group of us went to Lovebox and wanted to find some good music to dance to. We found Le Galaxie's after party online after another party we wanted to attend was ending early. The tickets were sold saying the place was open until 3am.
We arrived and the bar is cool and it was a good outside area where we were able to chat. A tad overlit, but a great seating area.
We went downstairs to dance and bizarrely the venue was rather empty. If our group hadn't been there it would've been hardly anyone there. However, the music was good and we wanted to dance.
The DJs were trying to get the atmosphere going but then at 2am the lights went up we questioned what was happening as we had as an hour left of the night. The bouncers were curt and unhelpful and the doorman told my friend that it ended early because the DJ's didn't want to play anymore. We tried to speak to the manager but no one cared. We would've have gone somewhere else if we thought the club closed at 2am. We weren't aware clubs in London closed that early!
There was no explanation provided for the early finish and we were charged an extortionate £15 for 2 hours of dancing in an empty club. Truly disappointing and we won't be going back. There are plenty of better, cheaper places in London to be enjoyed.
