Si intravede da diverse zone della città ed alta e imponente.
Aspetto ammaliante e suggestivo che ti cattura lo sguardo a lungo.
Non è aperta al pubblico ma il suo fascino è un qualcosa di straordinario!

I was lucky enough to get a invite through work & we jumped at the chance . Stunning views & even had some food & drinks as part of my visit . The staff are all so lovely too . I felt honored to get the chance to go . Loved every min of it x

De muitas partes da cidade, é possível visualizar essa torre. Tornou-se um cartão postal da cidade. Chama a atenção principalmente de noite, pois é iluminada.

Британская телевизионная башня меня лично не впечатлила. Дизайн у неё довольно своеобразный( Строилась c 1961 по 1964. Высота 180 метро, 37 этажей, 2 скоростных лифта. В начале 70-х на верхних этажах экстремисты из ИРА устроили взрыв и насколько я знаю, ресторан не работает и туристов туда не пускают(

Это действующая радио-телевизионная башня с 1964 года. К сожалению, ресторан и обзорная площадка давно закрыты. Вращающийся экран наверху, где транслируется что-то важное, что происходит в Лондоне или в мире.

The BT Tower is one of many iconic London things to see, we spotted it pushing out of the skyline walking away from Tottenham court road, it was glimmering int the sun shine and looked fabulous.

Finally managed to walk to the base of this building. I say base because, without seeing it with your own eyes, you wouldn’t believe it - it’s just some structured concrete. Everything above street level is iconic as shown in all the pictures.

Best view is from the Shard, we did see this on the Hop on hop off bus too but difficult to photograph. We didn't enter here.

We stayed at a hotel near by and was going for a Walk to the tower to have a closer look. Unfortunatly it is not posible to go inside and from the outside the building looks like it needs maintaince.

BT Tower is not normally open to the general public, accept by special invitation. Opened in 1965, it’s reason for existence may have gone as technology has changed but it is an iconic feature of the London skyline and a wonderful place to visit.
We were again lucky enough to visit for the Christmas at BT Tower event on the 23rd December which was a magical experience where employees of BT are entered into a lottery and the lucky ones get to visit Father Christmas at BT Tower with their family and all proceeds go to a children’s charity. The inside of the ground floor is transformed into a winter wonderland, the lucky children get to visit Father Christmas and then travel up to the 34th floor to what was the revolving restaurant for games and views across London. The lift was on reduced speed due to the wind outside making the Tower move on our trip, even so our ears still went pop due to the rapid height change. The outer floor rotates very slowly, which can be a bit odd if you put a drink down on the inside centre as it will slowly be lost until it rotates back around apparently doing a full rotation every 22 minutes. We have attached some of the photos as it was a clear night.

Are you able to gain entry into the BT Tower & if so how much does it cost?

I'm afraid you can't. It's only accessible if you are an employee. However, it is open to the public once a year as part of Open House London. Keep your eyes peeled for that. Open House normally takes place in September. As it's normally so popular, you have to enter a ballot and pray that you win a place. You can find more details about Open House by Googling it.

Despite some of the rather odd reviews on here which seem to be from people who have walked past as opposed to actually visiting the location, the restaurant in by invitation only.

My dad will be 100 in April. He was employed at the Post Office Tower as an Assistant Executive Engineer for many years and was there when there was a bomb scare. He happened to mention that he would love to visit the Tower to see the changes. His name is William King (known as Bill King) and is still in good health. I am sure you will have a record of his service with you. I have tried various other routes to see if this can be arranged but received no replies. My sisters and I would be so grateful if you could help us fulfil his wish. Please say you can help.

No, the Tower is invitation only. Other central Rooftop restaurants are open, I’d recommend Cop d’Argent at No 1 Poultry near Bank station.

There is no Restaurant a charity opens it up one day a year for you to have a look round but you have to pay to go up

Sorry the BT tower is open on selected days for charity events for BT employees only.
It's a real shame as it is a brilliant place to visit.
If you know someone at BT ask them for further details.
I visited by invitation of a friend.

My husband has had an email from bt shareholders saying he's won a trip Up the tower n The 19th feb for two choosing either afternoon tea or early dinner. He filled out the name address and sent off his preference but have had no reply. We think it may be a scam as we haven't had any confirmation. There's not a phone number to confirm. Worried that if we go there it won't even be open. Has anyone got a phone number ? Thankyou

Does the senders email address appear genuine? Google it and check the results.
Do you normally get shareholder info and offers by email?
Did the sender used your full names or shareholder number anywhere on the email ? (although you’ve now told them)
It may be genuine, if so the response will be large and will take a while for them to process all the applications.
You can’t journey out on 19 Feb. until at least you’ve been informed whether you have afternoon tea or dinner.
If its genuine you will be informed and there will be contact details, restaurants now have to be very allergen aware and they will ask whether you have any special dietary requirements, so that is another check for you to look out for.
