I have taken two of the Tours run now, the Thames run and the Palaces run and both were excellent. Nikki, our tour guide, was full of enthusiasm from the the get go and was able to cater for all of the runners who were on the tour.
Nikki was also full of great information about the city and I found out loads that I never knew even though I have visited London many times.
The runs I took both started at 7am and lasted around 2 hours. It was the perfect time of the day to run as the city was so quiet. Never before have I gone through Covent Garden without having to get through crowds of people.
Both tours give a great flavour of London and take you past many of the major landmarks of the city. The great thing is that there is always time for a photo opportunity.
I can't recommend Nikki and Love London Running Tours enough. A pace to suit everyone, great sites and a brilliant way to start the day.
London is a stunning city and best seen early in the morning!

Totally agree that the city is best enjoyed early in the morning and once we are able to start offering tours again we will be keener than ever to ensure they take place at the quietest of times to ensure guest and guide safety.

This morning I did a wonderful Love London walking tour with Nikki. It’s been over a decade since I lived in London, so it was fabulous to walk through some old and new haunts. Nikki talked me through many interesting facts and anecdotes about the royal palaces area and beyond. I came away feeling energised and more confident walking around the city. On my next visit to London I would definitely book another tour, perhaps even a run! A great way to start the day and take in the city, would highly recommend to any visitors or Londoners.

We have done six running tours in five cities (New York twice) and this was the best tour we have done! Nikki was fantastic, taking us to many iconic spots on both sides of the Thames. She has a wealth of knowledge about London and took many photos along the way. We were very impressed with her hospitality and how careful she was about getting around safely. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this tour and highly recommend for runners of all levels, as a way to see the city up close and personal and get a run in! Thank you Nikii!

Only having two full days in London and this being my first time visiting this beautiful city, I wanted to see as many of the major sights as possible. I chose the Thames River run which was beautiful from start to finish.
I informed my tour guide Nikki that I had ran a marathon four days prior and wanted to take it easy since this was my first recovery run. Luckily for me I was the only runner on this tour so we were able to go at a comfortable pace.
I cannot stress enough what an outstanding job Nikki did. She was extremely professional, informative, took many pictures for me (which I hardly ever do myself) and even asked me several times throughout our run how my legs felt. Thanks again Nikki for an amazing experience!

If you love running,take the time to run with Nikki.Her knowledge and amazing facts throughout the run were so interesting,so I got a history lesson as well as a good workout. Nikki is lovely, and will run at your pace,so go for it and book a run !!!

We had the most magnificent tour with Nikki. Nikki is so nice and knowledgeable. We did the Palaces and power run and did around 10 kms. We ended up with a private tour as we were the only ones this morning.

We did the Thames River running tour with Nikki who was kind enough to schedule it on a Bank Holiday as it was our only available day. She is friendly, very knowledgeable and great with taking pictures. The pace was comfortable with lots of stops for photo ops. This is a great way to see the sights and get a feel for the city. We couldn’t ID any of the tall buildings when we started but recognized them all later the next day when we were on a river dinner cruise. Thank you, Nikki; we hope to run with you again next time we’re back in London!

This is the best tour, you guys! Nikki is amazing and super knowledgeable. You see all the London sights on the Thames tour (parliament, the globe theater, the london eye, st. paul's, tower of london, etc.) but at 7am the city is just waking up so it's quiet and the pathway along the river is just beautiful. It was easy to find the start of the tour and no problem getting home at the end. Do this tour when you're in London!!!

Joined Nikki at 7 in the morning to run along the Thames from Embankment to Westminster Bridge to St Paul’s to Tower Bridge. We stopped regularly to view the sites, hear a bit of history, and to take pictures. It was a pleasant 5.4 mile or 9 km run at a comfortable pace. There were three of us in the group with Nikki and she kept us entertained throughout. Highly recommended as a different way to see parts of the city!

What distances can tour participants choose from and at what pace does the average group progress?

Hi Bethesda, for private tours (what we call Love London Bespoke Runs) we can offer any distance from just a short tour up to 12km. For group runs our shortest tour is the Love London Night Run (5km) and longest is the Love London Marathon Moments Run (12.5km). Typically most runs are stop/start to take in the sights and we jog at the pace of the slowest runner in the group (it's not a competitive run, we want our Tours to be inclusive and sociable so we chat as we run). For people who want a more continuous run or a run/walk pace we recommended private tours but the best thing to do is to email us and we can advise for your personal needs.
