A horticultural gem, absolutely amazing gardens, I’ve worked at Chelsea flower show and visited many gardens including Highgrove but this rates highly in my top 5.

Very impressive when you walk around the gardens and consider how it all started as a grass field. Many aspects to this garden and a nice cafe with some nice food to make the visit worthwhile. All the staff you encounter are friendly and helpful.

10 out of 10 for every aspect of this wonderful garden. Staff in plant sales exceptionally helpful. Staff in cafe also extremely polite and courteous.
Can't wait for re -opening in spring to see this captivating garden. Well done to all employees.

Beautuflly laid out Gardens in Rural North Norfolk. On our visit we spotted a lovely Rolls Royce and enjoyed Tea and Cake.

Visited this garden with my wife and pensioner mother in law, no concessions made for the elderly £13 each?
Garden rather large with no plants labeled so you didn't know what they were, very shabby and uncared for in places. I feel totally ripped off ,not impressed at all . Worst still the toilets were filthy and un cleaned.
I would not recommend this garden.
Don't waste your money like me.

We decided to keep our pricing system simple, same for all, as does Sandringham and the National Trust, but with only a nominal charge for children,
You refer to the garden being “rather large” as if that is somehow a negative for visitors. You did visit on a very hot day. It is not correct that no plants are labelled, reviews should be accurate, every plant or group is labelled when planted, but plants expand during the growing season and labels get obscured or otherwise lost This is our private garden, so we do not wish to have labels appearing like tombstones. We are normally in the garden and a picture on a phone can be identified.
You mention the garden “in places” being shabby, we would advise that being as you mention a large garden some of the areas away from the more formal parts, in order to assist wildlife and diversity, are allowed to relax in their growth and have less intensive maintenance. This may not be to everyone’s taste. The photos put on TripAdvisor recently by other reviewers speak for themselves regarding the gardens appearance.
You visited on a particularly busy day and we have since arranged for additional inspections/cleaning of the toilets.
We obviously regret that you did not enjoy your visit and did not appreciate the colourful and well maintained areas shown in the photos mentioned.

This place was an amazing find during our recent holiday. Truly stunning everywhere you turned. Even my son, who tends to get a bit bored with such places actually enjoyed it. Loads of different spots to explore for hours and the cafe was good with some decent cake options. £30 for four of us to get in, drink and cake for three was about £12.

Wow! What a beautiful place to spend a few hours, a lot of love has gone into their creation and a must see is the Desert Wash area. Every turn is a new adventure. Lovely cafe with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the views whilst enjoying a pot of tea and cake. Highly recommend definitely a must see if you are in the area.

Very large gardens with a huge variety of plants. Nice to wander through on a sunny day. Approximately half the area is undeveloped and consists of hedges and lawn. Ample parking and a nice cafe area. I thought a little overpriced.

Absolutely worth the entry fee! Stunning and huge gardens. U could spend all day just wandering and exploring the 32 acre gardens. Also a lovely little cafe. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning gardens in a quiet corner of north east Norfolk. Completely worth going to - make sure you get there on opening time as they are pretty much endless. You could easily spend the day here, just in awe of all the different plants, secret hideaway areas and the general atmosphere. Would 100% definitely recommend!

Dogs are not allowed and I remember it being £8 each but judging by the other review, it must have gone up since I last went a year ago.

Whilst there are some uneven gravel paths and a few steps, I would think your mum would be able to navigate the garden with no issues.
