An excellent stop for one or two drinks or even more.
Superb service with excellent selection of cask ales which are looked after very well for a lovely smooth taste.
If you enjoy ciders check the board for a good choice to enjoy.

Lovely place. Just serves good beer and cider. Excellent bar staff and service. No music or the like just beer and conversation!

Lovely welcoming bar in the station waiting room. Good selection of beer and cider plus small and large bottles of Prosecco. Friendly staff with good knowledge of the specialist beers. Definitely will be returning on our next trip

Lovely atmosphere. Staff were brilliant. Love the retro design. Great for coffee or glass of wine. Looked as though it has a wide variety on the menu at good value.

I was recommended this pub. Micro brewery at its best. Very friendly owner who took time to tell me about his story and how things work there. It’s actually on the railway station platform and shouldn’t be missed. Beers, ciders and wines for the none beer drinkers.

If you like real ales and ciders, you will not be disappointed. Lovely welcoming small bar which is an old waiting room in the train station (hence the name!). They also offer beer bats so you can sample several of the ales available. Highly recommended.

Called in today, the beer was exceptional - very well kept. There’s also an excellent selection of ciders. The gentleman who keeps the place is very friendly and forthcoming with suggestions, which was much appreciated. It’s also very thoughtfully decorated, in-keeping with the station theme. You must come by!

Hi, thanks for your enquiry, we are not operating a booking system at present. Our revised opening hours are 5pm to 10pm every day apart from Tuesday. Hope to see you soon.
