Every game at Cryptology Nottingham is suitable for 2 players. Dreamscape we advise against (and you cannot book for) 2 (on the website), but if experienced, you most definitely can if you get in touch. The main point of difference between your "typical" escape room, is that Cryptology Nottingham's games are designed for varying levels of escape. For instance, Daylight Robbery is "how much can you steal, and make sure you escape". So a group of 2 and a group of 8 can be entertained for the full hour.

We are here to offer people great experiences, we have tailored the games so that people do not feel a "spare part". There's only so many puzzles, and whilst teamwork always helps, there is a limit. Rameseize is large enough and has enough content to challenge 7 people. For a group of 10, two groups of five will give the best experience. We can get you to compete by comparing your ranks against other groups.

We have had children as young as 12 do the room by themselves, it has gone well. We ask that a responsible adult remains in the building with us, you can watch the game on the CCTV we use, or sit in our reception.

Definitely large enough for 7 players. Great room and lots of fun.

Cryptology is relocating (still in Nottingham City Centre) on the 23rd of Feb. They are opening with Cypherdyne v1.5 and Rameseize, both will take 6 people. There is a chance (after play testing) that Rameseize may take more people, due to the size.
