‪We had heard about a butterfly house in Cutteslowe park and decided to try and find it. We have been to other bigger butterfly houses in NZ and US but there was something very charming about this one. Charterville Care is an organization that uses horticultural therapy to help folks with differences. The butterfly house is another part of their therapy program. Along with butterflies they also have native quail and doves that they raise and release. The nursery has a pick your own veg and sells plants at a reasonable price. And it all goes to a good cause. The kids spent an hour in there and would have spent longer if we didn't need to catch a bus.‬
