Booked and confirmed for 2 people in Glasgow for sep the 28th. Arrived to find the place closed down and locked up. No reply from Facebook, email or phone. Lost £40

This was the first part of my stag do - and I could not have asked for a better start . The setting was awesome and the staff / actors put so much into it - creating an atmosphere and making sure we all had great fun . Working as a team added a good dimension to it . Would love to do again in the future before they smash the building down !

Ok so I'll be straight I'm giving this a poor review for the service not the experience. I'm also writing now as it seems we won't get a refund or a new date to go.
So this was meant to be a stag weekend. The information provided stated that we should not be under the influence of alcohol. So we had one drink and none of our party was remotely drunk or under the influence. On arrival they asked if we had been drinking. We were honest and said we'd all had one or two pints that afternoon and it was now 9pm. We were told that because we had consumed alcohol we would not be allowed in. When we asked if we could re book we were told to contact the management. A little bit annoyed we tried to persuade them but they said it was invalidating their insurance.
So since then our party has been trying to get a refund or book another date. To say that we have been ignored would be putting it lightly. They do not care that they have had about £900 from us and we have nothing. The wording about drinking on their website is vague and non specific.
So to sum up, I'm sure this is a great experience if you get past the front door. However if you have had a drink you will not get in.
Piss poor customer relations from this company. I'll be making sure I tell everyone not to use this experience or this company.

My son in law and I were brought this as a Xmas gift and it was truly an amazing , scary time. We didn’t know what to expect but we weren’t disappointed . There were times I just wanted a zombie to get me so I could leave the game as all the running made me exhausted ..57 years young! Lol. But I completed the course and found out I was never in danger of being caught!

Just attended their last ever Zombie Mall event with Zed events. This is the fourth event of theirs that I’ve done, the mall twice before and the Asylum near Manchester which is sadly now closed.
Zed Events are bringing out a new event soon however - what that will be like I can not say but I can review the company, and each event I’ve done with them has been first class. They provide an interactive adrenaline fuelled experience the like of which you will not find elsewhere. It combines the real life problem solving skills of an Escape Room with the action and excitement of a computer game and the thrill, fear and scares of a horror film. The end result is something visceral and sublime. But it’s not for the faint hearted.
The team play their roles well, engaging fully with the storyline whilst still ensuring your safety and making sure that you have a great time. Entering their world, it all starts to become believable and the fear starts to feel real, and the joy of surviving even more so. This experience is something that you really should do at least once in your life if you’ve ever played a computer game and wished that you could step inside the game.
A brilliant and imaginative company who provide an experience you will never forget!

OK so this was my second visit, I know what to expect and how it's going to work.....
No! I was separated from the safety of my friends and then the zombies attacked.
Every man and woman for themselves is basically how this goes down. .
You end up trying to survive with people you have never met before because your husband (Rick Grimes) has ran off and left you again!
Hopefully booking for the new Christmas story.
Seriously if you like zombies you HAVE TO DO this event.

As an overweight female approaching 50 I was unsure whether I would be up to the physical challenge of the event, but although I found myself out of breath at times the adrenaline coursing through my veins fuelled me on! The event is very well planned, with enough stops to let you catch your breath, plus a bottle of water available about half way through. We were in Chris's team, he was fantastic, but Holly and Harry were equally as good. The active side of it lasts about two hours including the briefing, H&S etc, with photo opportunities at the ending lasting another 15-20 mins. The zombies/actors were great, make up and special effects good and I would recommend it to everyone. There were only 12 participants in our 9am slot, which was brilliant and everyone seemed to throw themselves into their roles. Thanks to everyone involved, highly recommended.

Wirklich ein großartiges Erlebnis. Die Charaktere sind unglaublich gut gespielt und die Story ist rund. Man wird so nah, wie ich es mir vorstellen kann (ohne dass man körperlich angegangen wird) in ein Apokalypse Szenario eingetaucht und hat 2-2,5 Stunden unheimlich viel Nervenkitzel, Spaß und Spannung.
Ich war anfangs sehr skeptisch, aber ich werde es wieder tun, wenn ich nochmal die Gelegenheit bekomme

The staff are really nice and friendly, the actors are really professional and believable. It was a really really good event.
The only thing I would recommend would be to fully engage and play along with the story. Act like you are in the story and not going to a zombie event, its a fully immersive experience and the more you put in and ask questions then the more the actors will give you, you'll have more fun and the depth of the story will increase.

Maybe a silly question but after the experience are you all sweaty and need a shower afterwards? We're thinking of doing something in Reading after so it would be useful to know this! thanks!

we did this event for the third time last weekend and didn't break a sweat because of the cold weather outside. There is no heating inside and you only need a light jacket or even a T shirt if your a warm person. This event is finishing in February so you need to book up quick, although something new is promised to be starting in March.
