Treasure Island show: We went to see the Treasure Island show, it was absolutely brilliant. So funny brilliant acting and I would say is suitable for age 8 upwards so they get most jokes.
This show has finished here now but recommend to see if it tours.
The attic theatre itself is an intimate studio. There is a lovely theatre host as well.
It's right down by river in a great complex with bars and cafes below.

Very good evening although billed for children Treasure Island had us laughing start to finish. Very slick and well acted. Would definitely go again . Well done

We went to watch Treasure Island with our 2 teenagers (age 14 and 16). They’re usually a tough crowd, but they really loved this production - as did we! Such a talented cast, we were entertained from start to finish. Thank you so much for being a real highlight of our trip to Stratford.

We wanted to see a theatre show in Stratford-Upon-Avon on our holiday and decided to see Treasure Island. We all absolutely loved it! Very funny and superb acting. Highly recommend!

Another wonderful show. We’re regulars at the Attic - loving the intimate feel, humorous productions and great cast. Treasure Island, their latest production, is brilliant - humour for the whole family. Do try and get tickets!

This was our first visit to this attractive little studio theatre. We have visited its neighbour regularly for years but this little gem has somehow missed our radar. A shame, because if this production is representative, then we have missed out badly. The cast members were uniformly very good, although particular mention needs to be made of the clever and well - differentiated Cordelia/Fool portrayal, of Edmund and Edgar, and of the gentle treatment of the title role. The intimacy of the studio enabled - enforced, indeed - an attention which paid dividends in an examination of this play. My wife and I thoroughly recommend the experience and present our compliments and congratulations to the actors, who did not allow what must have been a dishearteningly sparse audience to diminish the quality and effort invested in their roles. It is a shame that this production seems not to be able to capitalise on its proximity to its massive neighbour: our front row seats represented excellent value, and the quality of acting does not suffer by comparison with the bigger place. A different approach to publicity and to marketing seems needed. We'll be back for Much Ado.

If you are looking for a fun filled, story authentic theatre trip, get yourself to The Attic to see TREASURE ISLAND. A sheer delight of a piece, faithful to the novel with added summer comedy original features. Loved it!!!

Treasure Island, magic. Super cast, really well performed. Our second visit and really great. A quirky intimate venue. A must do when in Stratford.

Is Sweeney Todd suitable for a 9 & 11 year old?

We would say not suitable for most primary age children but if your children are not easy to shock/scare they may be fine. Reviewers have said how dark it is and there is fair bit of fake blood around. Difficult to advise but you know your own children.

Hi Shaun, we are running two plays side by side at the moment so on Saturday 16th at 2:30 pm we have Bronte and at 7:30 pm we have Wuthering Heights. Hope one, or both of these appeals to you/your group.
