The most depressing hole I have ever been dropped into - grumpy staff, miserable drinks, reheated food last seen in the 60s... I could go on!

Seen wrestling show at Cadbury club ages were from 76 down to 13 in our party of 5. Nice clean tidy club. Drinks reasonable also sandwiches. Only downside was the parking you are allowed 2hrs out side all week. I parked on side street 5 mins walk away. If parking available would.be 5 stars.

As we was meeting up for a night out what more better place to meet up at the Cadbury social club great night will definitely return.

We booked the Cadbury Club for a company Christmas party. The large room looked great when we checked it but on the date of the party was freezing cold, there were portable electric fans scattered everywhere which made no impact at all.
The bar staff were surly and unhelpful and the food was cold with incredible slow service.
To make matters worse, over 50 guests (including myself) suffered with stomach pains, cramps, diarrhea and flu like symptoms . Complaints to the venue were roundly ignored. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

What a magnificant building in the middle of Bourneville. Really gives Bourneville a village feel and certainly makes you feel you aren't in the middle of a huge city. The building is really well maintained and Tudor based in style.

Bournville wurde von der Quäkerfamilie Cadbury für die Arbeiter der Schokoladenfabrik erbaut.
Der Club diente als Sport-Club, um die körperliche Ertüchtigung und Gesunderhaltung der Mitarbeiter zu fördern. Und auch um zu verhindern, dass sich die Männer nach Feierabend in der Bar rumtreiben.
Ist nicht zu besichtigen und hat nichts mit der Fabrik "Cadbury World" zu tun.
Interessanter Fachwerkbau, zu welchem sich Herr Cadbury nach einer Reise nach Brügge inspirieren lies.

My daughter booked this for my husband as part of his 70th birthday as he loves chocolate and also he went there on a school trip when he was about 11/12. There were 9 of us in the party and I was in a wheelchair, the staff were all very helpful and made sure we were all kept together. It was a lovely day very relaxed we all had a great time I was a bit concerned that the wheelchair would cause a problem but in the end it wasn't thanks to the family and the staff would highly recommend but don't take any chocolate in your picnic as your given lots as you go round!!

Visited on a wet day in August with 7 year old son my sister in law and 10
year old nephew. Queued up at the beginning. Got bar code ticket scanned and thrust into my hands a pile of chocolate. 12 bars! 3 for each ticket. Then got ushered through the doors. Walked through the exhibit and then into two theatres for two talks about Cadbury family. Very interesting but apart from the seat shaking in the second theatre there really wasn't much to keep young minds interested and engaged. Hence the lots of screaming toddlers around. Onto what used to be the packing department. Not there! Just a person doing glitter tattoos for a very pricey £3.50. Really! There was the chance to have your photo take by a green screen. £10 a pop. Then a little ride in a car with another £10 for picture. There was a room where a very awkward man was trying to demonstrate tempering chocolate. He didn't really explain things properly and seemed to be put off by the children around him. Perhaps in the wrong job. In this room you could see people hand decorating chocolate and making large chocolate footballs. This is the only time you get to see anything of chocolate manufacturing. There was liquid chocolates tasting here too. After this there was a room with a few activities in for kids to do. The only good one and one that was actually to do with chocolate manufacturing was to do with growing chocolate beans. We were then lead directly into the shop where you could purchase any chocolate bar for premium prices. It's cheaper in Asda or home bargains. There was nothing special in here. I was expecting some old favourites like old Jamaica or specially wrapped bars. No! Just overpriced normal Americanised chocolate.
We then went to the cafe. My son chose a meal bag. £4.50 for 4 items! One of which being a drink. So expensive for what you got. The sandwich was dried up. It was chaos in the cafe with no cutlery. The mocha I had was one that was a coffee already poured and the the lady just whacked some chocolate in. It was only half filled. At least the tables were cleaned.
We walked down to to 4d cinema. That was good and probably the best bit of trip. The park was closed due to it raining. So after children have been cooped up in an exhibition that was not very child interactive and stuck in various different queues and fed the free chocolate to keep them occupied, there is nowhere for the children to let off steam!
This was my third time at Cadbury World and most definitely my worst. First was as a child quite some years ago. Second was about 3 years ago with my own child. And then this one. The first two I remember being given a chocolate drink at the very beginning. Not any more. I remember being given the free chocolate a various different points throughout the tour. Not just thrust into your hands at the beginning. Kind of takes the excitement away.
It's very sad that you cannot see the packing anymore. This was quite interesting and I know my seven year old would have loved it. It's what gives the tour that exciting, I'm going into a chocolate factory' feel.
I was very much disappointed with this tour. I may as well have gone to Asda bought some chocolate, then watch some How How It's Made on you tube. Then took by son to the local park and have a picnic. I would have had a better time and saved £80.
Oh and Cadbury, please design better uniforms for your employees. Or at least make them where ones that fit! Some of the girls looked mightily uncomfortable in the trousers you provide for them. Very unflattering and in some cases disgusting. Put it this way, that Maynards moose might be looking for its knuckles.
