O barco estava imundo (carpete empoeirado). O percurso também é lamentável: Birmigham tem canais incríveis, mas este barco só passo por locais “arrebentados” (sujos, cheios de grafites, campos de obra, locais abandonados). Uma decepção! Não percam dinheiro neste passeio, tentem outro!

We had a great time on this boat ride. 30 mins was exactly right for us and at £4 each a great price. Steve the host was very friendly and as it was quiet we got the whole boat to ourselves.

Great little trip around the canal network of central Birmingham. Plenty to see of interest with a knowledgable and helpful skipper. Value for money and just right for young and old alike.

Easy to find in Brindley Place. I decided not to ride as I wanted to walk. Price is reasonable for a half hour ride. My understanding is that they need to have a minimum number of passengers before it will launch.

What a waste of time! We waited to ages for bus to turn up and when if finally did the guy said it would be ready in about 1hr for refuelling bearing in mind it’s supposed to run every 30mins. So we went off to have something to eat and came back in 1hr only to be told it would now be another 45 mins which we couldn’t do because our car park ticket would have run out before we got back to it. Complete waste of time and 2 disappointed children.

Good little trip around the canal for half an hour. Boat is small and fare is 4 pound each. Nothing fancy but very relaxing trip.

Visited with my three year old for his birthday and was not disappointed. For just £4 each we enjoyed a 30 minute trip to the mailbox and back to Brindley Place. My three year old was fascinated and it made an already great day even better. Would highly recommend. Only thing to note is that there must be 5 of you to ride, so we had to wait until another family wanted to ride before we could get on board, suitable for a maximum of 12 people.

We boarded the boat and cruised along the canal for half an hour admiring the many canal side pubs and the marina. Excellent value at £4.00

Went on a forty minute trip starting in Brindley place that goes down to the Mailbox then back up the canal past the sealife centre and beyond. Really good 4 pound trip.

2 friends and I really enjoyed our trip on the Waterbus and our guide, Lyndon, was very friendly and charming - a credit to his company and Birmingham hospitality. We were very pleasantly surprised at how picturesque the canals are and our round trip included Brindley Place, the Mailbox, King Edwards Wharf, Gas Street Basin and Sherborne Wharf, where there was an abundance of house boats. There are numerous quaint and interesting pubs on route and we went back to The Distillery for some lunch where they did amazing pizza's (made in a clay oven). The National Trust, working in partnership with the Canal & River Trust, plan to revitalise and restore the Roundhouse, Nineteenth century canal-side stables and stores, which is next door. It is to be transformed into a hub from which to explore the city by foot, bike or boat, so we look forward to returning to see this interesting horseshoe shaped building in the future - and another trip on the canals.
