Fantastic friendly pub. Great food. Have eaten here 2 days in a row and both times it was brilliant. An absolute hidden gem.

Visited the aardvark today had a lovely breakfast. Food was very tasty and well cooked. Jo the manager was so welcoming and friendly would definitely visit again!!

I visited The Aardvark based on a friends recommendation & I wasn't disappointed! Tasty meals, reasonably priced drinks & service was on point. The staff were all friendly, with a special shout out to Jamie who served us at the bar. See you again soon!

Been coming to this pub since I was fresh 18, 11 years ago now. Seen so many different staff over the years come and go. Place has stayed true to its core. It’s a shame it’s not busier than it is sometimes but i do enjoy having the place to myself when it’s quiet. Staff were polite and attentive. Your typical sports bar, the only thing I wished they would do is more cocktails variety but other than that my local go to whenever I want to go out.

I booked a table for lunch time to watch the championship play offs, which wasn’t really necessary but not worth the risk.
Plenty of televisions showing sport, along with the women’s FA Cup final.
Only has a few drinks but the food was excellent, just what we needed on a Sunday afternoon.
Great place if you want to catch the latest sports.

Found this pub just a few minutes walk from the train station, drinks very reasonably priced and the food was hot and good value and out in good time, all in all a good experience

We have been a customer here for years, but today was our last visit. We were told that the hot plate was broken so couldn't order burgers, they only had two pieces of fish left, this was at 1.00 pm!, the fish and chips were OK, also ordered all day breakfast, OK ,but the eggs were rock hard and very over cooked. The food took 40 minutes to arrive, no one bothered to ask if everything was OK. Could not have lime and soda, as there was a problem with the soda.

Had an amazing experience. Just went for a quiet pint but was made to feel so welcome by not only the regulars but the bar staff. Beth was very bubbly and clearly enjoying being there. Would recommend to anyone. 5* easy.

What an odd pub. We went here as a couple and were greeted by a strange cast of characters both behind the bar and drinking in the bar.
The toilets were out of order so the disabled toilet had to be used. This toilet was pretty disgusting though and grown men were taking it in turns to lock their friends in and block the door with chairs. The disabled toilet door had to be left open when leaving as the staff don’t seem to have a key so much hilariously ensued watching them Jimmy the door open with knives whenever somebody closed it behind them.
As odd as this place is everybody was friendly but seems to operate on their own schedule (particularly chef, who didn’t seem to be around until an hour after we were told he would be ready to cook).

Walked in and ordered a pint,served quickly and effectively,nice pint,ordered food it came in quick time,it was delicious chips were red here so they had not been sitting under heat lamps,the burger was equally hot and delicious,will be coming back,highly recommend a visit 👌👌👌
