Not happy. Asked for a quote told £40 and then charged £48. The driver was not kept waiting, there was NO traffic or delays. Shocking.

Prompt service, nice very friendly drivers. Knowledgeable of the area. Would highly recommend. Comfortable and clean vehicles.

I had a very fast and easy pick up from a gentleman called Barry . He’s was very helpful and got me back when trains were all delayed. Would definitely recommend using this service all the drivers are very friendly and polite

Great service from Castle Cars, our driver Barry, was very helpful picked us up from Avisford Hotel and took us to Goodwood races, he knew some back roads which had beautiful scenery to avoid traffic, he was very courteous dropped us off as near as he could to our enclosure, our friend who’s disabled cannot walk too far so we were very grateful. On our return Barry was there ready and waiting for us and again took us the quick way to Arundel and suggested a place to eat. We cannot fault our great service with Castle Cars and our driver Barry keep up great service. Thankyou.

A huge thank you to Castle Cars for getting us to and from Goodwood Races on Wednesday from our hotel - super efficient service , great car and drivers !
A massive thank you also to John , who promptly returned the phone that my forgetful husband left on the back seat !
We are planning to return to Arundel next year for Goodwood race day and will definitely be using your company again .

The most awful, uncomfortable and intimidating experience. We pre-booked two cars to collect us from a wedding venue in Arundel and take us home. Castle cars sent three cars by mistake - one of the drivers was rude to my friends aggressively accusing them of booking three cars. Meanwhile myself and a fellow female passenger were in the car in front, the driver aggressively silenced us for swearing, and then proceeded to ask if we were married and said he could see why we weren't. My friend and I felt so intimidated we sat in silence for the rest of the journey in fear of receiving further abuse, we actually asked to be dropped away from our accommodation to walk as we didn't feel comfortable with the driver knowing where we were staying. Overall a horrible experience, which is not a nice way to end a beautiful wedding!! I wanted to call the centre manager to report this but feel too uncomfortable. We had other drivers from Castle Cars throughout the day and they were lovely, very knowledgable, chatty and welcoming but whoever picked us up at the end of the evening shouldn't be driving females around!!!

If possible don't use unless you really have to. I had booked the mini bus months ago to attend a wedding and it was late. I had amended my booking the day before for an extra pick up of family members and he missed it - something about it not being on his job sheet!! I was told by the office staff that I should have told the driver he had another pick up, but that was after the event and I was not travelling in the mini bus!!! Why did they not tell their driver who he was picking up and where?? Had to then get another taxi to go pick up worried family, then got charged again for this taxi even though this was not our fault. Tried to talk to the owner as only he can do refunds apparently but of course, he never calls you back and hopes you just go away. Never had such awful service from a taxi company, ever. If we run our business like this, we would be closed down within a week. Thanks for the stress and for taking money for your errors, terrible.

Another very bad experience with Castle Cars. I use them whenever I'm in Arundel visiting an elderly relative.
I usually getting some very rude and aggressive woman answering and generally telling me there's no car for 1 or 2 hours!
Last night took the biscuit!
I called at 8.30pm and the message said i was "first in the queue" for my call to be answered. I held for around 15 minutes, clearly the operator was on a private call!
I then hung up and called back and it was answered straight away by a young guy.
I told him where I wanted to be picked up and he said there are no cars on that road until 6am because the road is closed! I asked if he was having a laugh and he said if I had a problem with it i shoul d call the highway services! I then repeated was he having a laugh and he hung up!
Unfortunatley, with Castle Cars being the only taxi company I can ever find in Arundel I decided at 8.30pm in the pitch dark and pouring rain my only option was to walk.
This is an extremely dangerous thing to do as it's along the busy and very fast A27 dual carriageway with no lights and very narrow pavements.
This walk would've taken me around 1.45 min to my hotel!
As I started walking to the busy "closed" road, I noticed it was still open. I spoke to a highways construction worker in his truck and he said they hadn't closed it yet but even when it does close they can escort traffic needing to come up and down it to access properties.
I asked if he'd kindly call the rude taxi guy. He did, and explained that it was OK to send me a car because a taxi would be allowed to use the road. The rude operator told him there's no more cars now and I'd have to call back!
I called him straight back, just to get the "you are the first in the queue" message again!
At this stage I was about to have a nervous breakdown and the kind highways guy offered me a lift 🙏
Anyone reading this who lives in Arundel, I strongly suggest you start up a taxi company so these unprofessional idiots can be unmonopolised!

I use castle cars on a regular basis but today they were just very unprofessional. Rang from work to ask for a ride home due rain and possible thunderstorm. Was told be operator no problem no indication of a delay. Forty mins later and three phone calls an older gentleman arrived. No apology and then has the gall to go long way round and wants to charge me £7.20 when it’s usually £5.40. Very disappointing as I use them regularly and some drivers are lovey.

The most unreliable service! Booked them for my wedding for my family and they let them wait over an hour. We prepaid and it is just really rude how they treated us - no apology, no explanation. I called four times and every time they were like, yeah we are sending a cab now, it should be with you in 15 minutes. And then they didn’t turn up. Don’t use them for an important day like your wedding.
