Incredible antique militaria shop! The gentleman there was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My son loved it—our favorite antique shop by far! Must visit!

I phoned in advance to confirm opening times. Travelled seventy miles round trip. Arrived within confirmed times, and the door was locked. A grumpy man actually waved me away. I tried to communicate but was spoken to like I was an annoyance. Grumbled at me, ‘come back in 5 mins’. I returned, and was again confronted with the same man, shouting, “CLOSED! You know, NOT open”.

Searching for a Xmas present on their website and I sent an enquiry ref a WW1 item. Quick response back from Andy and the team. I purchased the item, great piece of history and it arrived 2 days later. Fair price, very well packaged, Tim kept in contact with tracking number etc. Great service. These guys went above and beyond at this busy time of year.

Visited this shop looking for military buttons for a forthcoming project. Owner was so helpful and provided a whole tin for me to sort through. Found the specific style I was looking for for-lion and crown. At only 25p a button this was ideal and found 8 identical. Owner so knowledgeable and a good conversation was had while sorting buttons and checking other items. Some great paintings in there too. Check out Boris Johnson!

I come here to buy and sell antiquities because I usually find some fascinating oddities here; and the director always give me good money for rare goods I might have had trouble selling elsewhere; as I have no retail outlet. Love it.

Militaria occupies a prominent position in a large building in Arundel’s High Street. Perhaps because as is common with so many antiques shops both in Arundel and elsewhere it is so cluttered inside its main entrance from the High Street is blocked. Access is instead gained via a side entrance along a passage displaying porcelain fish in a tank itself leading to
an antiques and art gallery. Inside Militaria one gentleman was directing another to re-arrange a display of posters on the opposite wall. Elsewhere amongst miscellaneous pieces of furniture not obviously related to any military campaign but housing toy soldiers or porcelain chamber pots, were racks of antique military uniform, an art deco caryatid holding a light fitting, a small portrait of Churchill, even a model BA passenger plane. All gloriously disconnected and only spuriously categorised as militaria unless everything g in the shop was collected by Lt Col Robert St John Bladdery KG.

A balanced piece of journalism written by somebody with no hidden agendas ?. Not all the photographs accompanying your piece were taken in our store, which is a little below the belt . 2,402 Contributions before you choose to pick on a militaria store? I apologise once again for the offence caused by the Third Reich items displayed. Considering the fuss made on Saturday I am surprised you vented your distain on the presence of " Antique Furniture" .. The store is called "Antiques & Militaria"

A varied collection including militaria but with other items such as a piece of a racing car, a stuffed boar, old tin advert signs etc. Space to browse no pressure to buy. Some items priced some not.

Arundel has several antique shops but this one is worth a visit for the more interesting and odd items on offer from bronze statues and militaria to art and some furniture.

It would be a very interesting place, if the owner does not turn a scammer and ill-mannered.
The instant I asked for a bayonet gave me a price, it turns out that when taking a bayonet the price that I had was much lower but when I said that to the subject he replied "sorry those prices are old"
Ask for a World War II item and the subject answered directly "You can not afford it" That is to say the next day I removed all the prices of all the items. A scoundrel and pedantic rude. Be careful not to scam them.

I would recommend this shop to any military collector but also to people with a interest in history you will find some small part of history to buy and take with you
