We took the vineyard tour and taster session - we had the sunset slot and sampled all four sparkling Sussex wines, Blanc de Noir was our favourite, the weather was amazing which helped, but a great place to visit and sample their wines along with their buffet style food pairings- highly recommended

It was all top quality, from the excellent talk about the vineyard, its history and the making of a bottle of wine to the wine tasting and the delicious afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones and cakes. The ambiance is beautiful and all the staff were all very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.

This was a birthday present from our daughter, and what a treat it was. I don’t really go for sparkling wine, but this vineyard is different, as everything they make, touches the right spot. A brilliantly presented brief, explaining the process was given by the passionate owner, and even his dogs, Bubbles and Fizz made an appearance. We bought and enjoyed a bottle before we left. Highly recommend for any interested wine lovers.

Just come back from a nights stay in one of the lodges for my partners surprise 50th . I was blown away by our accommodation. They had also decorated nicely with the bits I sent in the post . Fantastic view of the
Vineyard of our seated patio area. Wonderful continental breakfast brought to our lodge , which we ate outside . Thank you Tinwood for making our stay speacial .

Spent a pleasant afternoon on a tour of the vines and wine tasting. However, the wine wasn't really to my taste. Nice food but quite expensive. I wasn't watching what I chose. My fault.

Had a lovely afternoon at Tinwood. Great tour of the vineyard. They looked after my elderly in-laws and made everyone feel very welcome. Lots of great food too. The wine-tasting was informative and fizzy! Learnt a lot about the region and wine-making.

We’ve just returned from a lovely anniversary spent at Tinwood estate, we did the wine tour and tasting and had a lodge for the night. I can highly recommend it, the lodge was very comfortable with a fabulous bathroom. We had a lovely outside area, sadly the weather was very wet, but the view across the vines was beautiful. They provided a very nice breakfast hamper in the morning, containing fresh juice, boiled eggs and warm toast etc. We throughly enjoyed our visit and the sparkling wine!

We simply loved our tour of the vineyard as part of a small group. The tour was taken by the very friendly owner, who gave a comprehensive, knowledgeable and informative talk about the history of the family business and the process of converting the old farm into a vineyard, with insights into the ideal local geology, geography and climate.
Lunch was first class delicious and at affordable prices and the sparkling wines perfect with the meal.

I have visited Tinwood various times now. For the normal wine tasting tour with a lovely cheeseboard, to just yesterday having the amazing afternoon tea in the sunshine with Jody giving the best tasting tour! However I’m here to write about the Tinwood Summer Party a few weeks ago.
I had been wanting to go to this party for years and never made it, so my excitement levels and expectations were high! Well…Tinwood did not disappoint and instead, more than exceeded any expectations myself and my friends had! We were greeted by the owners and staff with a lovely glass of their Brut, and filtered into the grounds and found ourselves a lovely bench directly next to the vineyard.
Looking around, it was lovely to see different age groups all mixing together and getting to know one another. There was some lovely music and the atmosphere was really good. There was a really friendly, good time, summer party vibe. We sat in the sunshine whilst drinking the amazing Blanc de Blanc fizz.
There were x3 different food outlets. We went for the pizza!! But there was also baguette options and paella options too! Something for everyone!
Later into the evening, the music changed to more house type music which got everyone up and dancing into the evening. There was an amazing sax player who got the tempo started for the evening, and some incredible dancers on stilts too!
What I feel is really important to say here, is that all the staff were so on top of everything! From greeting people, to serving drinks as fast as they could to keep lines down, to clearing tables, and even just generally walking around and saying hi-making sure everyone was ok and looked after. Even the security hired for the event were incredible and friendly and ensured everyone was looked after. Everyone-whether customer or staff, had a smile on their faces for the whole evening!
It was honestly the best night out I’ve ever had in the Chichester area! And I simply CANNOT WAIT for next years party!! Thank you so much Tinwood! (Now planning a date to come along for your new picnic option!)

Is the vineyard within walking distance of Chichester Cathedral

No you would need a car or taxi not sure about busses.
Definitely worth a visit though.

Flip flops fine. No real dress code. Cheese board set though.
