We held our Mum's 90th Afternoon Tea Party at Norden Farm Arts Centre on Saturday. We hired the Nordens barn.
We fell in love with the venue as soon as we visited and knew it would be perfect for the kind of party Mum would like.
From the outset Rachel, the events co ordinator was amazing. Liasing with us on a regular basis and answering all our questions calmly and efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble.
On the day itself we were able to set up and decorate the room in plenty of time.
Special mention to to the duty staff that afternoon, Kianna, Kim and Abi who were absolutely amazing in making sure Mum had the best party. Again nothing was too much trouble for them.
The party itself was just perfect. The guests absolutely loved their afternoon. The afternoon tea/ buffet was so delicious and plentiful!! Lots of doggy bags to go home with! ( again provided by Nordens) .
The afternoon couldn't have been any better and we are so very grateful to everyone at Norden Farm that worked so hard to make it a party we as a family and none of the guests will ever forget 🩷

I went to a cinema screening event a couple of times, and really enjoyed my experience on each occasion. The theatre and toilets are clean, which is of utmost importance. Staff members are approachable, friendly, kind and helpful, always smiling and offering support - this is a massive strength of this venue.

Great venue for music and performances. Well organised venue and great car parking. Something for everyone. Good pricing.
Very hard to find though if you're not local - more brown signs please from the local council.

Norden Farm is one of the best things about Maidenhead, perhaps the best. I was there with friends for a gig (Martin Turner) and a pre-show meal. We had a lovely time at a sensible price. The atmosphere and cafe are very pleasant. But, and I'm a friend of this venue, I have to offer some constructive criticism. The menu and food need an overhaul. The menu is virtually static. Some dishes are good including the homemade soups but it's become so samey. Thus, I had a special - chicken tagine. What arrived was truly awful. A bowl of tough chicken breast in a sauce that was just spiced oil and water with a few half-olives floating in it. It was not pleasant and it was not a tagine. But that was a one-off failure. The bigger picture is that the menu require a major re-working - please.

I came here for the first time today to see the film of the National Theatre's production of Othello. My husband and I were both bowled over by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff members, without exception: the welcome of the stewards, the delightful barista who was happy to chat coffee with me, the chef who made us the tastiest toasties and had them ready for us at the start of the short interval. What a fabulous venue! We don't live in Maidenhead but will definitely be back.

Norden Farm is an excellent art centre offering a wide range of classes and courses from pilates to painting and sketching, and many great evening events including comedy, music and films. It’s a marvellous place, well run and very welcoming.

Saturday Night Concert at the Farm was so much fun. Lovely find , great venue, good bar and food service. Staff were really helpful. Onsite parking limited so get there early. This place has a great program of events and deserves success

Outstanding shows, especially for kids, across the two theatres. Well organised facility and the food is amazing, especially the burger! Kids enjoy the nuggets too

So glad this place was saved. We went to a gigg there last night. We ate there & was imprest with the quality of food. The fish & chips was excellent. Attentative staff. All in all a very good experience. Long may it survive.

Such a pleasure to be back at the Norden Farm Centre. It is a great local venue for shows, workshops, art exhibitions and lots of other activities. It is also a lovely place to just hang out with friends and family and enjoy a hot cup of coffee or something to eat. All the staff and the volunteers do a wonderful job of keeping the place neat, and the atmosphere is always very welcoming and relaxed. You can also reserve office space now, at a reasonable daily price. There is plenty of free parking on site too.
