Near the Thames and a very popular area and open green space 2 mins walk from Windsor. Lovely sunny afternoon and great to walk around with so many people enjoying themselves. Great friendly atmosphere. Walked back to the town from the racecourse and well worth the time

We were only in Windsor for one day and night but parked our car next to the park so walked through it to get to our hotel.
We noticed what a lovely space it was and a couple of cafes, crazy golf, activities for children and the walk along the Thames. We decided to enjoy a coffee before our long drive home and just enjoy this little bit of lovely green space whilst we could.

We went to Alexandra Gardens for the Normandy food festival.
The small festival was very nice, the park was a good location to hold the festival.
Public restroom was clean.
Families were out enjoying the weather and picnicking on the grass.

The Alexandra Gardens offers charming views of the Thames and a relaxed area to explore, some local band where shouting out some tunes when we wandered through, replica Hawker Hurricane at the far end from the town centre, nice place to explore

It is well worth a wander through these gardens. They are very quiet at the moment and there is some lovely tree colour.

I was on a short vacation to Windsor, and as you walk alongside the River Thames, just behind it is the park.
The park is a long thin piece of open space,with the Bandstand and children playground and mini golf at the far end, but the truly magnificent feature is the Jubilee Fountain,which aptly, was erected for the queens jubilee, as you can see by my picture,the water shows off a stunning backdrop to the famous Round Tower and The Chapel house’s,inside the grounds of the Castle.
So in summary this park, is a part of your tour of Windsor, put your tick inside this box.

Alexandra Gardens is a really nice park and is just across the road from the River Thames. It is also just a short walk from the town centre and the castle.
There are plenty of benches to sit on and lots of open spaces you you can sit and have a picnic or play games. There are also quite a few trees around the edge so you can sit in the shade.

Normally this is a well-kept municipal park. Unfortunately it's currently taken over by a fun fair which operates during December and January.

This is a very well kept park right by the river. It is also well placed if you are plalnning a pic-nic as the car par is adjacent so you don't have to lug food etc. too far. Plenty of space to play. In the park is a m in golf course as well as other children's attractions.You can also buy ice cream and food from the kiosk in the park. A good place to to visit with a young family.

Yes there is a sundial and a play ground. The amusement park was closed
Could we fly drone for taking a picture around the park. It's not a business, just activity.

I would think you could! There are no rules on it and everyone does it nowadays. There is a lot of open space there so it could be done.

There are no fees and the car park is right beside the Park.
