‪Such a shame! ‬

‪Having spent a lot of money here, I cancelled and changed a booking. This was not done and when arrived told we could not ride. Apologised and offered a complimentary ride as their error! Trying to explain to a severely autistic child why they can’t ride was hard enough! Yet since trying to get the complimentary ride, been totally ignored at the request! Over 1 week now and silence!
Fed up of the ethos of riding stables, all I’ve used are rude, short and keen to tell you the mistakes you make! Been a rider for 43 years, and it appears ‘horsey people’ still don’t grasp manners! ‬

‪A fabulous experience‬

‪I had an incredible two-hour ride on Troy in Windsor Great Park with an excellent and friendly guide, Ed. The atmosphere and surroundings is incredible and worth every penny! I’d been wanting to do this ride for a couple years and it was as wonderful as I imagined. The horses are very well-trained and very well cared for. Jenny was a delight and made it so easy to schedule a ride.‬

‪Great 2 hour ride around the great park
. Our ride leader Ed was fantastic! Probably the best Ive had for the last few years. Talked to everyone and was very relaxed and informative. Made for a great ride on a lovely day. Can't wait to come back! (Jenny who took care of everything was awesome)‬

‪Fantastic, well-organised ride.‬

‪My daughter absolutely loved her ride. This was by far the best ride she has had from a stable. Beautiful horses, lovely long opportunities to canter and trot through stunning grounds. Great communication on booking with Jenny too.
Thank you to a lovely group of staff and their horses.‬

‪The best special birthday present ever!‬

‪A wonderful riding experience at Tally Ho stables which was a surprise 70th birthday present from my husband.
We travelled 4 hours from South Wales for my 2 hour hack!
Jenny was amazingly helpful & did her utter best to please. All the staff were friendly too.
The ride through Windsor great park was amazing! one which I will never forget! the group were chatty and friendly had such a great time that I have booked again for next month…can’t wait!‬

‪Disappointing‬

‪Had high hopes for this place - the location, the horses - as a back up while my own horse was off work.

First impressions were good, relaxed yard, friendly (apart from the girl who told us we couldn´t walk around looking into stables due to health and safety).

Sadly the actual ride was disappointing as I was allocated a gelderlander, a ride and drive horse better suited to pulling hearses than being sat on, and probably the most uncomfortable horse I have ever ridden.

I´m sure if you got a smooth horse the experience would be lovely, but we won´t be going back.‬

‪Had an amazing experience at Tally ho stables. Jenny who sorted our booking out, and ted who took us out on a 2 hour walk through Windsor great park were a credit to the stables..
Stunning location, wonderful experience all round.

‪Amazing hack!‬

‪We went for our daughter's 14th birthday yesterday. We booked a 2hr hack for a beginner.
She has ridden before but only 'pony days' at our local stables.
She had an absolutely AMAZING time out on Troy with Jenny and Blue leading them around the glorious Windsor Great Park.
My wife and I walked with them (when we could keep up) and enjoyed every minute of it as well!
Incredibly welcoming setup and have no hesitation in recommending to others!
We are already looking at the calendar for future visits!
Thank you to everyone at Tally Ho Stables for making our daughter's birthday so memorable! She didn't stop smiling all day!!‬

‪This was one of the best rides I have had in a long time.. Oscar my horse was exactly what I asked for.. luv him... Ed our guide was so informative and friendly.. Very friendly and welcoming staff and well cared for horses... Definitely will be going again xxx‬

‪Fabulous stables. Jen and all the staff were very welcoming. Great horses, well cared for. Asked for a lively horse and that's definitely what I got with Jack. Ed our guide was very friendly and informative. Great Windsor Park is second to none and no traffic. Amazing, worth every penny, will return.‬
